Tick, tick, tick.

The old clock echoed through the halls. It was distracting and unpleasant. Y/N had managed to fall asleep despite that, but within an hour, she felt herself being pulled from her dream.

She gasped as her eyes flew open. Her arms tried to raise upwards, but they stayed limp by her sides. Y/N tried to squirm, but it was as if her body didn't belong to her.

It was a constant game of cat and mouse. Y/N had fled for the fourth time, settling for the night at some dingy motel. She prayed that for once, she'd be safe throughout the night. For once, Y/N wanted to sleep without suffering throughout.

"Your heart is pounding; I can hear it."

Her eyes flickered side to side, but she saw nothing. It was him. His voice was always so smooth, so confident. If she had never made the mistake of messing with a ouija board, Y/N would never had created this mess. Her friends wouldn't have been found slaughtered, nor would she be on the run.

"It upsets me when you run away," something brushed against her arm, and Y/N whimpered. "Although, it's easy to catch you." next to her, the bed dipped. She didn't dare look to her right, instead looking out the window.

"I only made it to where you can't move. You can speak, Y/N."

She could only part her lips, stuttered breath escaping them. Keigo sighed, tapping her forehead.

"You were having such a beautiful dream; it's a shame I had to pull you out of it."

Something cold, and pointed brushed against her cheek. Y/N knew was it was. It was the bones of his wings. He knew it frightened her, yet toyed with her anyway.

"Y/N, there's nothing for you to look at outside. Look at me," he commanded, his finger pressing up under her chin. After seconds of uncomfortable silence, Y/N complied.

Blond hair, with black ends. Wings without flesh, exposing the bones. Normal skin, only with blackened veins. Elongated teeth, ripe for pulling flesh apart like food. The cherry on top, was the pointed horns protruding from his head.

"I forget how pure your soul is," Keigo almost disliked how bright her aura was. He wished she could've been less pure, but then Y/N wouldn't be her true self. "Is my influence tainting it? Well, that's a problem for another time."

He abandoned his place beside her, settling directly on her left side where there was more space. Keigo lifted the covers, crawling inside them.

"...What are you doing?"

Keigo chuckled, turning on his side. Y/N was still facing the ceiling, as was her eyes. She preferred not to look at him.

"What am I doing?" he asked, scooting closer to Y/N. "I'm showing affection, Y/N. Isn't that what humans do?" to probe his point, she felt a light pressure. In a flash, she was rolled to lay on her side, facing away from Keigo. His arms reached around her, her back flush against his chest.

"This...this isn't affection—!"

"—but I saw people do it on TV! Do you not like it?"

She wasn't sure. Y/N wanted to move so badly, but her body refused to respond. His breath tickled her shoulder, as did his lips against her skin.

"You know nothing about us— humans," Y/N gritted, her frustrations bubbling to the surface. "We don't slaughter our lovers' friends, nor do we date things like you!" Oh, how badly she wished her legs worked. She felt Keigo stiffen behind her.

"I've broken a lot of rules for you, Y/N," his touch disappeared, along with his warmth. The covers were straightened back into place, with Keigo deciding to sit on the edge of the bed again. "You started this whole mess when you and your little friends called out to me in the void."

Y/N scoffed, rolling her eyes. Keigo didn't like that. His shadow loomed over her, his eyes burning into her own.

"You mock me, but it's true. I wasn't supposed to heed your call, yet I did. Your voice was like heaven to all of us!"

It was a silly thought, but Keigo wished he hadn't fallen with Lucifer. He wished he had maintained his holiness and selflessness. Then, he'd have every right to be by Y/N's side.

"...Who's 'all of us'?" Y/N asked, her fear rising quickly.

"Things like me. I fought for the right to answer your summons. Only, I didn't know what I was getting into," the bones from his wings poked into her skin, making her wince. "Not that I'm complaining, though. I'd rather walk the earth with you than in Hell!"

She was shaking, terribly. Keigo noticed this, and clicked his tongue. He slithered away from the bed, instead standing a few feet farther.

"One, two, three."

He snapped his fingers, and then Y/N opened her eyes again. Sunlight streamed through the windows, temporarily blinding here. She shot up from the bed, tears streaming from her face.

It all felt so real, but it was nothing more but another dream. Keigo was very much real, but it didn't matter. Y/N needed to leave, quickly.

Money was left on the nightstand, and she set out. Y/N could almost hear his chuckles, but knew not to turn her head. That would only stir him up further.

She paid for her train ticket, and found an empty seat. Hardly anyone else boarded the train, Y/N noticed. As she sat alone, she thought of the dream.

Sleep paralysis was only one of his many tricks, and Y/N didn't know what else he could.

She didn't want to know.

• Oh my god y'all writers block is kicking my ASS! I have like 10 smut chapters loaded in the chamber but I can't seem to finish them ong 😭

• I'm gonna try and finish them up, but I think from now on I'll only take requests instead of writing my own ideas. I've come to find out I can quickly write chapters if someone is expecting me to finish them, specifically the person who requested.

• (I guess another way to put it, is that I feel more encouraged/obligated to pump out a chapter because someone specifically requested it)

• Sooo yeah please request if you want something new, my mind is braindead when it comes to ideas
