Hitoshi Shinso x Reader
(Instead of this being a direct part 2, we're gonna have a change of events instead)

"You're crazy. It's as simple as that."
Shinso pondered for a moment, debating on whether he should make the knights fall back. He could feel his hold on Y/N breaking, and didn't miss the twitch of her fingers.
He picked Y/N up off of the ground, hauling her over his shoulder.
"We're going back before the storm picks up. Hurry along, now."
The knights stiffened, before turning around and going back the way they came from. A path was already made from their stampede, making the trip easier. Shinso was in the center of their formation, with his arms securing Y/N in place.
"I hate you...I hate—"
"—I know, dear."
She slumped against him, staring at the ground beneath them. Y/N looked to the cliff, which was becoming smaller with each step they took. What would have happened if things turned out differently? Would they both had gone tumbling down?
Shinso sighed, feeling the fabric of her dress crinkle under his hand.
"I spent a fortune on this dress. We'll find a replacement once we get back."
Y/N didn't care about the stupid dress. She didn't care if she had to wear a potato sack. Could she risk creating another publicity stunt? Would they drag her to the dungeons and claim insanity? God, this was a mess.
Their trip back to the capital was shorter than expected, and she absolutely hated seeing all of the commoners raise their eyebrows at her. They whispered seeing her being held like a child. What did they know? They knew nothing. None of them understood what Y/N had sacrificed just so that they could have supper every night.
The castle was still aloof with guests and nobles, but Shinso was merciful enough to spare Y/N the extra embarrassment. With the knights gone, he took an alternate route to her personal seamstress. He opened the door, muttering small apologies when the seamstress nearly fainted at the condition of Y/N's dress.
"Heavens above...what has she done to cause this type of damage?"
She lifted the different layers of fabric, examining the damage. It couldn't be saved. A completely new dress would have to be tailored, but it could takes weeks.
"I need a new dress made immediately if you don't already have one in stock. You'll be rewarded handsomely."
The seamstress blinked, before rushing to the enormous closet. Several dresses were on the hangers, but she needed to find a white one.
"Aha! W-Would this one do, sir?"
It was white, but looked more like a dress one would wear to a picnic. Shinso sighed, before bowing his head respectfully.
"Of course, this is fine. Thank you."
She took Y/N from his hold, making her sit down on a plush seat. Before she could remove the dress from its hanger though, Shinso stopped her.
