Dabi x Reader
(3rd POV, AU, no quirks)

"Care to have another glass, mouse?"
How did she end up in this mess? She wasn't sure. Y/N couldn't remember stepping into the bar, neither the scarred man walking up to her and buying drinks. He offered her one, then two, then three glasses of shōchū. It didn't taste like hard liquor or beer, but instead it was sweet. All she focused on was her fourth glass and the closeness between them two.
After she downed the fourth drink, she almost fell out of the stool. What a way to spend your twentieth birthday, huh? Trying alcohol for the first time was supposed to be fun. Well, that's what a few of her friends said. Y/N would make sure to hunt down Ashido and Yaoyorozu after tonight's ordeal.
He couldn't help himself, not after seeing Y/N walk into the bar utterly clueless. Dabi chuckled when she couldn't even figure out the menu. Offering a lending hand, he helped the naive girl pick out his most favorite choice. The more he watched her, the more he became entranced. Why hadn't he ever seen her before? After a little digging, which was mostly slurred answers, he discovered quite a bit.
Y/N L/N, age twenty, and steadily working on her career. Pretty shabby and typical. But, it was a little different. Dabi wanted to know more. Every word that spilled from her lips was like liquid gold.
"Ah...what's your name again, sir?"
Her face felt hot, as did the pit of her stomach. Everything else felt cold. She could feel her eyelids drooping, sometimes shutting on their own. The stranger kept his hand on her back so that she wouldn't fall out of the stool.
"The name's Dabi, mouse."
"Dabi...weird name."
She sat down the empty glass, taking a peek at her surroundings. To her surprise, she only now noticed that this 'Dabi' fellow was quite handsome. Well, the burned skin or whatever was kind of creepy. Y/N sighed, and slid her empty glass back to Dabi. He grinned, beckoning the bartender over once again.
Once her glass was full, it was gone with seconds.
He adjusted the collar of his jacket, and opened his wallet for a few more dollars. Like an idiot, he'd spent most of his newly earned money getting Y/N drunk. It was worth it. Dabi got what he wanted, but he needed a little bit more.
"Hey, princess...where do you live?"
The room suddenly felt hotter. She felt herself wobble, but Dabi was there to keep her upright. He helped her step down from the stool, and like a gentlemen, led her outside. Of course, people stared and whispered.
It was cold outside, a stark contrast to her face. She felt her bag being taken, but couldn't hardly do anything to stop it. Y/N calmed down seeing it was just Dabi. He went through its contents, clicking his tongue when he found her address.
With a wave of his hand, a taxi appeared by their side. Dabi motioned for the driver to roll down the window, and then opened the backseat door. He helped Y/N get seated, fastened her seatbelt, and then shut the door.
"Make sure this little one gets home safe, yeah? We'll have problems if I don't see her soon."
The taxi driver nodded, and Dabi gave his last few dollars to him for the trip. After telling him Y/N's address, the car sped off. The scarred man sighed, shoving his hands deep into his pockets.
She opened her eyes and saw that she was home. Y/N warily stepped out of the taxi, not questioning how things turned out like this. The car was gone, leaving Y/N alone.
Her home was the same as always, and she fell into bed without a sound. As she slept the night away, Y/N didn't hear her phone ding. It went off a few more times, before going quiet.
Dabi stayed up all night, hoping she'd answer him. Well, the rational part of him knew Y/N would be knocked out cold. Still, a man could only dream. When he finally fell asleep in his trashy old apartment, Dabi wished he knew a little more about her.
Sunlight woke Y/N up, the glaring beams annoying her. The memories from last night were still hazy, but she vaguely remembered the scarred man. Unfortunately, she couldn't remember his name. When she checked her phone, her eyes went wide.
A missed call from a No Caller ID.
Five messages.
One social media friend request or follow.
She opened the messages first, squinting her eyes at the texts. They were all sent around two in the morning, and within one minute of each other.
???: Hey, it's me. I helped you get home last night.
???: Do you remember me, princess?
???: Y/N?
???: Should I come over?
As she was about to read the last message, it disappeared. Y/N tried to close the app and then reopen it, but it was still gone. But then it clicked. She hurriedly read through everything again, before flicking her eyes to her bedroom door.
Fast as lightning, she ran to the front door and locked every lock that there was. Looking into the peephole, she didn't see anything. Her heart was beating fast, and was so loud that she could hear it, too. Stepping away from the door, she bit her bottom lip and went into the kitchen.
Then, her phone rang.
