It's an Avatar (oddly been feeling a resurgence of interest in it lately) fanfic. The idea is that he'll be an alchemist in a world of bending. (Think of FMA), he's a member of a prestigious family within the Fire Nation, but because he is born without the ability to bend the elements of nature to his control, he's considered the black sheep of the family and gets betrayed by his family till one day he sets off, escaping and eventually his story will collide with Aang's own.
