Chapter 38

We see y/n in his room laying down in his room. He decided that he was not in the mood to attend school so he was gonna stay home today. Y/n also didn't want to deal with the devils yesterday because they had pissed him off especially Rias and Issei. They told him he was a dishonest liar and that he betrayed their friendship even though y/n had done so much for them in the past, like helping them against the fallen angels thus helping them gain a new member in Asia and not to mention, fighting Kokabiel when he could've died just to save them. Anyways as y/n was coming home yesterday he didn't realize that a black cat that he had seen spying on him for the last couple of days, had followed him to his home.

Y/n pov:

'those ungrateful devils, I've done so much for them and they call me a liar!,' I thought with an angry expression on my face. I decided to stay home today because I wasn't in the mood to see those bastards today.

Ayumi on the other hand, decided that she wanted to go to school just incase if anything happened and if anything did happen, she would know and tell me.

I was thinking of what to do for the day since I honestly had nothing in mind. After 5 minutes, my belly started to grumble and I got very hungry so I decided to go to McRonalds to grab something to eat.

I then put on a hat and headed off to McRonalds.

Kiba pov:

After y/n had stormed off in a fit of anger, me, Koneko and Asia decided that he needed an apology after all the insults that Rias and Issei told him. This time Xenovia joined us because she felt that he needed a thanks from her also.

We couldn't find him after he stormed of angrily so we decided that we would look for him the next day and here we are.

I honestly didn't know where to look so I asked Koneko , "do you know where he could be?," she responded, "we can check out McRonalds, we went there for our date." I thought about it for a second and I said, "yes, that might be the best place to look!." Koneko and Asia nodded.

We began walking to McRonalds and I heard Asia say, "I hope he listens to us," and I sighed and said, "I hope so too, he's done nothing but help us since we've met him and he deserves a thanks!." I said and we all nodded.

When we reached, we walked in and sure enough, we say y/n sitting at one of the tables and we began to approach him but when he noticed us he began go walk away.

Y/n pov:

I finished eating my burger and fries and then I heard someone approaching me and when I checked who it was, I saw it was the group of Kiba, Koneko, Asia and Xenovia. I began walking away.

Asia then shouted, "please stay, y/n, we wanna apologize to you!," and I chuckled and said, "I bet Rias sent you to apologize to get me back, didn't she!," and Kiba shook his head and said, "no, we came in our own accord!."

I raised an eyebrow and asked them, "did you, now?," and Kiba nodded and said, "yes, we came to apologize to you on our own accord because Rias is too prideful to ever to and Issei will just follow whatever Rias says like a lapdog!."

We then went and sat down and Xenovia told me, "listen, we wanted to apologize to you because you've done so much for us!," Asia then joined in and said, "yes, you risked your life to save me when the fallen angels captured me and for that I want to continue being your friend!."

Kiba then said, "please forgive us and accept our apologies, please we want to still be your friends!," he sounded desperate and when I looked at Koneko, I saw her giving me the puppy eyes which no one could resist so I just sighed and gave in and told them, "ok fine, I'll be your friend, just don't expect me to forgive Rias and Issei!." I told them with a stern look and they just ran up and hugged me.

I looked at Koneko and asked her, "aren't you mad that I lied to you?," and she shook her head and said, "no, how I could be mad, you've done so much for us even risked your life for us and don't forget even I didn't tell you I was a devil, so ofcourse I'm not mad at you!," she said and I was shocked and I went and kissed her on the cheeks and she blushed.

After that we spent the day hanging out and having a great time.

*timeskip*

It was now late in the afternoon and it was time for me and them to part ways but before they left, I told them, "before you go, I just wanna say, I'm sorry for lashing out at you guys yesterday!," and Asia smiled and said, "it's fine, we understand that Issei and Rias pissed you off and you had every right to get angry at us."

When she said that, I smiled and waved goodbye and began walking home.

*timeskip to my house*

When I reached my house, I saw that Ayumi wasn't home, 'she must be still at school,' I thought as I sat down on the couch that was next to me, soon I fell asleep.

I woke up because I felt something licking my cheek and I saw the Same black cat from the other day.

"Who are you?," I asked while summoning one of my sword and the cat said, "nya, you found out!."

The cat then transformed into a very attractive woman wearing a kimono.

I couldn't help but stare, she was a very attractive woman and it seems like she caught me and giggled

She smirked and said, "do you like what you see, nya?," and I nodded but the grew a serious look and asked her, "who are you and what are you doing my house?," I asked her.

She then said, "my name's Kuroka Toujou," when she said that, I thought, 'toujou...she must be related to Koneko!,' I then asked her, "you must be relate to Koneko?," and she said, "oh you know shirone?," I nodded and said, "she's one of my friends and she's a devil under Rias Gremory!."

She then said, "as long as she's fine, I'm happy with it," I nodded and asked her, "so what are you doing in my house?,"

She then smirked and licked my face and told me, "I came to see my mate!," and I grew confused and asked her, "what do you mean?."

She giggled and told me, "you, y/n, I've chosen you as my mate!."
