"Desolation Claw!" Cyberdramon shouted. Two waves-one from each arm-went flying towards the Digidestined.

Yatakaramon swooped down and picked up all of the kids. Sam, Natsumi, Anna, and Maia were on the bird's back while Ceya was in his claws. "Let me at 'em!" the blonde shouted. She struggled against Yatakaramon's grip, arms flailing every which way.

"Down, tiger," Maia told Ceya.

The Digimon on the ground all jumped (Taomon), ran (Seasarmon), or flew (Wingdramon and MagnaAngemon) out of the attack's range. Taomon landed on Cyberdramon's back and brought up her brush. "Brush Strike!"

The brush slammed into Cyberdramon's armor, denting it, but not doing much more than that. Cyberdramon whirled around quickly, sending Taomon flying through the air.

"Taomon! You alright?" Anna screamed/asked.

Taomon slammed into a building. "Fine like always," the fox replied, slightly dazed.

"Sun's Courage!" Seasarmon exclaimed. Arrows flew by Cyberdramon in a blur. The dragon wove in and out in an attempt to come out unscathed. Unlike the previous time, he succeeded.

Natsumi groaned from Yatakaramon's back. "I seriously wish that for once, th r good guys could get the advantage."

Anna laughed. "It's not like we've gotten the upper hand against twelve Shadow Reigners in the past week or anything."

Ceya smirked. "Not like that at all."

Natsumi took our her bottom lip in a fake pout. "Stop ganging up on me!"

Cyberdramon flew towards Seasarmon and punched the dog in the chest, sending her flying into a nearby building.

"Seasarmon!" Natsumi shouted in fear.

"Excalibur!" MagnaAngemon exclaimed, bringing out his sword. In one swift motion, he flew forwards and attempted to cut Cyberdramon with the blade.

Cyberdramon turned around at the last second. He grabbed the sword and flung it-along with MagnaAngemon-into a building.

"This isn't going well," Maia whispered, fear in her voice. "I hope that they're okay."

Wingdramon decided to attack now. He went in for a blow, but before the words could leave his beak, Cyberdramon kicked his chest. The bird went through the air, clobbering Yatakaramon in the process. All five of the kids fell off (or were dropped, in Ceya's case).

MagnaAngemon tried to fly to catch Maia, but Cyberdramon saw. He punched the angel, and MagnaAngemon dedigivolved into Patamon.

"Patamon!" Maia shouted. She smashed into the ground a few seconds later.

Dracomon and Tsukaimon came limping closer, though Tsukaimon was sitting atop Dracomon's head. Renamon was close behind.

Anna, Ceya, Sam, and Natsumi all hit the ground. Natsumi's head was spinning, just like her vision. Sam's voice a few seconds later seemed like nothing more than an echo to her. "How are we supposed to defeat Cyberdramon if the only Digimon we have to fight back is a champion level? Cyberdramon plowed through all four ultimates!"

"I think our best choice is to run. We can't call for backup since everybody else is occupied with ShadowShakkoumon and Garudamon X," Anna suggested.

"But then a bunch of innocent people will get hurt!" Ceya retorted.

"They have Digimon," Maia pointed out.

"But the Digimon can't digivolve to fight like ours can," Ceya said, not willing to give in.

Natsumi tried to locate Seasarmon during the argument that followed. Yells from Ceya, Maia, Anna, and Sam became more and more distant as she searched for her partner.

"Natsumi, let's try and use the crest to reach ultimate," Seasarmon suggested from nearby.

Natsumi nodded, though she couldn't see him at all. "I agree." She closed her eyes and focused on her crests. Natsumi's crest power had always been persuasion, so now she persuaded her crest to help Seasarmon reach ultimate.

Natsumi didn't realize time was slowing to a halt. She didn't notice it had happened until the arguments of her companions disappeared entirely. When the sound was gone, Natsumi opened her eyes.

"Keeper of Respect and Inheritor of Tenacity, it's time."

Natsumi grinned. Her vision was clear now, and she was focused on her crest. "I agree. It's my job to bring down Cyberdramon, and I will without doubt."

Light from Natsumi's crest spread out and touched Seasarmon, who was behind Natsumi.

"SEASARMON, DIGIVOLVE TO...CERBERUMON!"

Natsumi smiled. "You did it."

"We did it," Cerberumon corrected. "I couldn't have done any of this without you."

Natsumi grinned even wider at his comment. "I think that we should finally finish this dragon of destruction."

Natsumi felt arms around her shoulders. She turned a shade of pink, not expecting that to happen. "You got Seasarmon to digivolve!" It was Sam's voice in her ear. Natsumi flinched at the noise.

"That's a bit loud, Sammy," she told him.

"Sorry," the boy grinned. He let Natsumi go and took a spot next to her. They stood together and watched the fight about to spark.

"Emerald Blaze!" Cerberumon exclaimed. Red hot flames came from his mouth and went towards Cyberdramon.

"Desolation Claw!" Cyberdramon countered. His two waves hit Cerberumon's, but the two attacks didn't destroy one another, but instead continued to struggle for the upper hand.

Cerberumon was seeing Cyberdramon's assault coming nearer. Natsumi saw it as well, so she decided to give what her crest was famous for: encouragements for persistence. "You can do this, Cerberumon! Don't give in!"

Upon hearing these words, Cerberumon growled and reinforced the attack he was generating. It chased down Cyberdramon's waves, annihilating them after a few seconds.

"No...!" Cyberdramon whispered. The flames were about to hit him. His eyes widened and he tried to jump out of the way, but was sadly too late.

The flames struck his armor, melting them into wax. Without this protection, the dragon didn't stand a chance. He disappeared in a shower of data.

Cerberumon glowed and returned to Xiaomon. The small creature made its way towards Natsumi and Sam. The former scooped up the puppy in her arms. "Cyberdramon is gone, thanks to you!" Natsumi grinned.

"Us, remember?" Xiaomon said.

Sam smiled and put his hand on Natsumi's shoulder. "That was great, you two."

Anna walked up to the group. "Sadly, we have to go and help the others now."

This earned exasperated sighs from Natsumi and Sam.
