Somewhere in a dark room a 16 year old girl is sitting at a desk staring at a blank piece of paper. She's an average girl: long black hair, pale skin and amber eyes. She's at a loss of what to write down, or if she should write anything at all.

"They wouldn't bother to read it anyway.." She thinks whilst standing up and walking towards the center of the room. "Oh well, guess it's time.."

She then sighs as she climbs up on the chair in front of her and slips the loop over her head. As she tightens it on her neck you can see her smile. A true and genuine smile she hasn't worn in years, since before her mom left, before her dad started drinking, before he started to hit her whenever she walked in the room. The thought of what she was about to do truly made her happy. And as she stepped off the chair the only thing that went through her mind was a simple thought that held immense meaning.

"I'm free.."

The next time she opens her eyes instead of the fiery pit she was expecting she saw a bright light and as it started to dim, the beautiful face of a woman with love in her eyes. And what she heard next completely blew her mind.

"My beautiful newborn baby, my Alice--"
