Chapter 52

                       Rose's POV

          "Come on Cici, hurry up. We're already late. My mom's been waiting for us for half an hour already."

                 "I'm coming. I'm coming. I just need to grab my bags."

     Rolling my eyes and walking out the front door, I decided to wait for my slow best friend outside. We're supposed to already be back to my house by now.

    I finally turned twelve yesterday and today's the day we finally get to go take the entrance exams for Fresia Magic Institute. Even though it's just the exams today, we're taking all our stuff anyway.

    My mom said that it doesn't hurt to be prepared and that she knows that we'll pass. She's even going to rent us a room at a fancy inn and take us to have some fun while we wait for the results.

             "Okay, I'm ready to go."

                       "Finally. It's about time slow poke."

             "What's the rush anyway? Isn't your mom just going to teleport us there?"

                        "Yeah, but that's not the point. The exams are only in a couple hours, the only reason we got to wait until the day of is because of her taking us. But if we miss the entrance exams we'll have to wait until next year to try."

   That seemed to finally get through to her as she threw her bags over her shoulder and started running. I just laughed and started running as well.

    Not long later we were running up to the front porch. My mom was sitting outside drinking a cup of tea and just giggled at us as we ran up.

             "Well, well. I thought I was going to have to go look for you two. Did you get everything you needed Cicilia?"

                      "Yes ma'am. And my mom wanted me to give you her thanks for taking me along."

              "It's no problem at all sweetie. Rose, how about you go grab your own stuff and we can get going."

      After running to my room and grabbing my bags, both me and Cici were standing there holding my mom's hands.

      "Alright girls, close your eyes."

   Squeezing my eyes shut I suddenly felt the weird sensation of teleporting. No matter how many times I do it with my mom I seriously doubt I'll ever get used to it.

    When I opened my eyes again I was shocked. We were standing in front of a huge gate. A wall just as big stretched pretty far from either side of it. And just over the gate you could somewhat make out the top of a huge palace looking building in the background.

          "Welcome to the Fresia Magic Institute girls. The entrance exams should be starting soon. I'll be waiting out here waiting to hear the good news."
