                       Alice's POV

           'This can't be happening...'

That's not her.. it can't be her.. it's not possible.. but then why does she look exactly like her? Why does she have the same mana signature?

I was quickly breaking down. It feels like I'm being stabbed in the chest with a white hot iron stake. I feel like I'm going to puke. I don't know what to do.

"Let's start the bid a eight thousand silver! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity after all."

When the auctioneer started up the bidding it snapped me back to reality, albeit just a little bit. But it was enough to remember why I'm here.

'Pull yourself together Alice. You need to act now before you lose your grip... there's too much at risk..'

I could feel all my seals threatening to shatter as I was breaking down. The power I've kept sealed was begging to be released. Begging for me to kill.. The things I've had to do in order to fully seal myself as much as I had still haunt me.

But out of everything I've tried, the only things that worked were dark magics. Mostly shadow magics.. Then as if sensing my inner struggle, the shadows around me started to grow denser and crawl up my legs. I've had to go so deep into the shadow to complete my seal that I've realized something nobody else has.

The shadow realm is in fact alive. It is it's own entity. And it's hunger was insatiable. Most people would grow weak with fear around the shadows after knowing that, but me, I found comfort in it. It's almost as if me and the shadow realm have been bound to one another.

As it continued to crawl up my body, I felt my seals being strengthened. It was helping me, my body absorbing the shadow magic needed for the seals on instinct.

'Lend me your strength , you shall have your feast.....'

So be it. I'm done being quiet or stealthy. Time to show these people exactly why I was dubbed a Nightshade.

I took a deep breath in as I imagined what it was I wanted to do, and as I let the breath out the entire warehouse was encased in a pitch black fog.

It was so thick that you couldn't even see someone directly next to you. And with everyone robbed of their sight, chaos was inevitable. Everyone started to panic and scream as they ran around trying to find their way out.

        "What's going on.."

               "Who's doing this!"

"Do you know who I am? Release me at once!!"

      "Help!!"

                "Don't push!!"

"The doors won't budge!! We're locked in here!!!"

Then suddenly everyone froze. Because at that exact moment everyone heard a pain filled blood curdling scream from somewhere in the warehouse. Then another from the opposite side of the room. That's when people truly lost their shit.

There was sounds of screams everywhere and people running around with nowhere to go, trampling over each other.

"Where's that damn slave, protect me, I bought you for a reason!!!"

"Mines gone too!! He's not responding to my commands!!! Those damn collars are useless!!!"

"The collars are all over the floor!! Someone removed them!!"

Finally people had started to notice that the slaves were no longer anywhere near here. The only reason that I haven't killed every single person here already, was that I was also releasing slaves from their collars and teleporting them out.

But I haven't been able to get to Lily yet... Making my way to the stage while slicing a couple throats along the way, I allowed the shadows to pull those I've killed into it's realm.

Once I reached the stage I realized that it was empty. That's when I truly lost it. With a scream I willed the fog to disperse while simultaneously having the shadows grab hold of everyone here to keep them from moving.

After the fog had lifted it went dead silent. The rich fucks that previously had such arrogance and ego were now cowering in fear. Both me and the entire room were covered in blood yet no bodies were seen anywhere.

I walked over to the auctioneer and willed the shadows to lift him in the air by his neck.

"WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE!! WHERE DID THAT PORTAL LEAD TOO?!?!.." I screamed in his face. He was ghostly pale and stunk of urine as he tried to speak.

           "I-i-i don't k-know why i-it closed... But I can t-take you there!!"

"I have no use for scum like you, just your memories.."

The shadow brought him closer and placing my hand on his head I mercilessly ravaged his mind, looking for what I needed. Once I was done he went limp, completely brain dead.

'Ill find you Lily. I'll burn the world if I have too ..

Without even turning around I extended my hand behind me and the shadow holding Baron Olterio pulled him to me. As soon as he was close enough I punched him in his face until he fell unconscious.

"I'm taking this one with me, the rest are your's.." I said to no one in particular.

A second later, everyone started freaking out again as they had started to sink into the shadows. I just stood there with a blank face as I watched them slowly disappear.

Time to get this stupid fuck to talk and finish this damn assignment. After that I'm heading straight to go get Lily. I have no damn clue how any of this shit is possible, but I'm sure as shit going to find out. One way or another.

After about an hour later I was back at our new base, completely drenched in blood. Walking through the main room I went straight towards the bathroom to clean up.

Zayne happened to be walking past at the same time. When he saw me he simply raised his eyebrows, gave a light chuckle and kept walking.

For now, I'm just gonna clean up and head to find her. The report can wait.

'Don't worry Lily, it won't be too much longer....'
