Dark Reincarnation: Nightshade

Chapter 7

3rd Person POV

A man can be seen entering a study and quickly locking the door. Lightning flashes as he hurries to the window. With a wave of his hand a thick metal appeared before him, flattening and separating into two and flying at both the door and the window. As the metal reaches each it spreads until encasing each completely. Essentially blocking each from forced entry.

The man smirks as sweat trails down his forehead.

"Nothing to be worried about, there's no way she's alive. Those are just rumors....right?" He mutters to himself.

And just as the man starts to relax the room suddenly dimmed. Not due to any lights going out but almost as if a huge shadow had been cast over everything.

The light in the room starts to turn a purplish hue and the man visibly starts shaking as he is struck with an intense fear.

In a blink of an eye he finds himself completely binded up by some invisible force.

"What the fuck, wha..." Just as he started to panic he suddenly froze as he felt a light breath on the back of his neck.

"Did you know," A beautiful voice started to say, "that just like a rose there is another beautiful flower that has it's "thorns"." She explained as she slowly walked forward.

"But unlike the rose that simply has its beauty and thorns that bring simple pain, this particular flower is both mesmerizing and deadly, for it can actually kill. This amazing purple flower is known as Nightshade..." She finished.

Just as realization could be seen in his eyes and a look of sheer terror covered his face, in a blink of an eye Alice was gone, and in her place sat an ominous purple nightshade.

The man only had mere moments to look at the flower before suddenly an intense purple light is all that can be seen in the study. Shortly after an explosion, taking the entire study as well as three miles in every direction, completely off the map.
