Chapter 56

                     Unknown POV

            "Give me your report. And it hade better be a damned good one."

                       "Yes your excellence. I bring you no bad news. We have successfully made it onto the Beast Kings territory without issue just as we were tasked."

     Well it's not exactly good news but it isn't bad either. It's about gods damned time shit is actually going as planned. I'm tired of all the false leads and failures. There was so many incapable idiots bringing me bad news I would have lost every single one of the maids I had if they weren't slaves.

     Hell, even some of the slaves had to be 'recycled' after having to clean up all the blood. I was actually starting to get bored of repeating my orders every time I got rid of the ones that failed.

          "You've done adequately so far. What have you found out about the target?."

                   "We have actually found it extremely difficult to aquire information about her but it's not impossible. We have two that have successfully infiltrated the royal palace and are currently in high standing.

     "According to our information, the target is no longer on this continent. But instead has departed back to the human continent just earlier today."

           "WHAT?!?! and how exactly am I to not look at this as a failure? You have obviously lost her again haven't you? Why did you not follow her? Maybe it's time you were recycled.."

                      "If I may, your excellency, I can wholeheartedly say that this was not a failure but a success. I admit that I have acted on my own and will accept due punishment, I simply request to finish my report beforehand."

      What did he say? He actually has the gall to freely admit that he acted on his own. As well as try and say that it was a success...

             "Hmmm.. You may proceed.."

                           "Thank you your excellence, as I was saying, I have decided to act on my own. As you are well aware, it was brought to our attention that the target has taken in a child.

    "And according to our sources, the target was actually sent to the human continent by order of the King himself. Apparently she is the rumored person that has been subjugating multiple SS rank and above threats.

      "That being said, it was by demand of the human council that she be sent to assist in the war against the demons."

                   "That is indeed very informative. However, it does not explain why you have acted on your own and failed to follow her."

            "The reason I have made the choice to act on my own sire, is because even the church is wary of her power. But, miraculous I happen to have uncovered her one true weakness."

       Her one true weakness? I find that truly hard to believe. But, if this is true, it changes everything...

                           "Depending on what you say next, I may decide no punishment is needed. Choose your words carefully."

              "But of course sire. Her one true weakness, is the child itself. Ever since we have learned of her taking the child in, it has been painfully obvious that she thinks of nothing else other than the child's safety.

    "Of course I know that, with your vast knowledge, you have to have already thought of this. Undoubtedly it has been near impossible to exploit this weakness. Until now that is.

    "Apparently, while the target is busy with the war, she has left the child here in this kingdom at a magic academy. I already have half a dozen men that have infiltrated the academy and are ready to close in the second you give the order sir.

    "And to ensure this opportunity was not wasted, I have also sent the 'Dragon' to make sure everything goes as planned."

    
      Holy shit... They've actually done it... This is fool proof... I cannot afford to miss this chance. Finally... After so many years... we will finally have her at our mercy..

         "Send them in immediately. I want that child in our hands by sundown."

                  "At once sire, they are moving as we speak."

          "If all goes well with your plan, I will not only forgive your blunder but with a victory like this, I will welcome you into the inner circle. I trust I will hear good news soon. You are dismissed."

    With a wave of my hand I cut off the connection and practically tripped as I ran to the door. This is it... I have to tell the others....
