Shin's POV
I woke up when I heard a loud cry. I slowly opened my eyes at tumambad sa akin ang isang kwarto- or should I say prison? Nasa loob ako ng kulungan na nasa loob ng isang kwarto. I can't tell how big this room dahil isa lang ang nagsisilbing ilaw dito, papatay-patay pa.
"Gising ka na, Kuya," Napatingin agad ako sa nagsalita sa harap ko.
Napatayo ako agad nang mapagtantong hindi lang ako nag-iisa rito. Napatingin naman ako sa batang lalaki na umiiyak sa tabi nung batang babae nasa harap ko.
"What the?" Nanlaki ang mata ko nang makitang puro sugat ang katawan nung bata habang yakap ang sarili. "What happened to him?"
"Isipin mo ang sarili mo huwag ang ibang tao, Kuya," sabi nung babae na mukhang kaedaran lang nila Ben habang pinatahan ang batang lalaki.
Nilibot ko ang paningin ko sa buong kulungan. Nakita ko ng tuluyan ang iba pang kasama ko rito. Halos lagpas bente kami rito.
"I'm Ezra, and this is Gavin." Muli kong nilingon ang babae na nasa harap ko nang nagpakilala siya.
Seryoso itong nakatingin sa akin. Madungis ang itsura niya, gulo-gulo rin ang buhok, at punit-punit din ang madumi nitong damit.
"Here, cover yourself up." Hinubad ko ang suit ko at inabot sa kaniya para ibalot ang katawan niya na nae-expose.
She accepted it. "Thanks," she said.
Napatingin naman ako kay Gavin na mahina nang umiiyak habang yakap ang sarili. He looks so young, probably about 7 or 8.
"I'm Shin," pakilala ko naman. "Nasaan ako? Nasaan tayo? Anong lugar ito?"
"No one knows but we're in an auction." Napalingon ako sa nagsalita. "And good to see you here. Today must've been your unlucky day."
He's walking towards our direction with a serious face. Namukhaan ko agad siya.
"David?" He's the next CEO of my dad's rival company. "Wait, what? Auction, you say? What auction?" taka kong tanong.
He's saying I'm in an auction? How? Ang huli kong naaalala ay palabas ako ng bahay dahil sa bomba. Then someone covered my face, made me smell something, and I heard Hana's voice, looking for me. After that I lost my consciousness.
Holy shit?! I was kidnapped on the same day as my birthday?! Fuck, this is the worst birthday I ever had!
"Human Auction. You're about to get sold like the rest of us, young man." I'm too stunned to speak after what David just said.
"W-what?"
"I advise you to start praying that you won't be in evil hands, Shianley." Umupo ito sa tabi ko.
"Paano ako napunta rito?" taka kong tanong.
"Why not ask yourself, Kuya?" sabi ni Ezra. "I was kidnapped four days ago. I know it's been four days since I got here because I was already given food for the 4th time. They only fed us here once a day."
They fucking fed a kid once a day?! How evil are they?!
"I was sold by those who ever kidnapped me to get sold again in auction later," dagdag pa niya.
"I got kidnapped and sold here last week," sabi ni David.
"What? You've been here since last week?!" gulat kong sabi.
I was shocked. He was kidnapped last week tas wala kaming nababalitaan? I mean, his father didn't report it or what? He is like an important person dahil siya ang tagapagmana!
