Hana's POV
Nanahimik lang ako after Shin's confession. Hindi sa hindi ko alam ang sasabihin ko. I'm stopping myself from saying how much I love him. I can't say that to him, at least not for now. We can't be together for now, not until I finish what I want to accomplish.
"Forbes, Laveria, Agasi, Gatchalian, at Mendez! Start warming up, the game will start in a minute!" sigaw ni Sir Falco.
Of course, I'm one of the first five, as always. This is really troublesome.
Napatingin ako sa gawi nila Shin. When my eyes landed on his, my heart beat fast. This is bad!
I immediately looked away when I saw his smile. His sweet smile made my heart beat even faster.
After a few minutes of warming up, the game finally starts.
I want to end this quickly, may pupuntahan pa ako.
In the first quarter, we obviously won. Lamang kami ng limang puntos. When second quarter ended, the other team won, lumamang sila ng apat na puntos, lucky. Hinabol agad namin ang score nila sa 3rd quarter. We made sure na hindi na nila mahahabol ito sa pang huling quarter.
We finished the game, and we won.
"Congrats!" My brother greeted me with a hug.
"Mainit!" angal ko.
It's hot and I'm sweating, tapos yayakapin ako?
"Shower na kayo tas kain tayo sa labas! Sagot ko!" masayang sabi naman ni Hide.
"'Yun oh, libre! Tara na!" excited naman na sigaw ni Karma.
This guy never shut up. At pagdating sa libre, alive na alive.
"I'll pass," I said.
"Why?" kunot noong tanong ni Shin.
"I'm going somewhere today," sagot ko sa kaniya.
"Saan? Baka hindi ka makarating sa birthday ko niyan!" tanong ni Karma.
"Don't worry, I'll make it," I replied.
I walked close to Shin and reached his ear to whisper something. Bumaba naman ito ng kaunti para maabot ko siya.
Nang nilapit ko ang bibig ko sa tenga niya, my lips accidentally touched his ears.
"I'm going to get the gift today," I whispered at agad lumayo sa kaniya.
I'm actually going to get Karma's gift for later. He'll surely like it.
"Saan ka pupunta?" tanong ni Sei na nakasunod sa akin papuntang locker.
"I'll get my gift for Karma," I said.
Kinuha ko agad ang gamit ko sa locker at umalis, ganoon din si Sei.
"Sa mall ba punta mo? Can I come? Hindi pa kasi ako nakakabili ng gift for him," tanong nito nang makarating kami sa parking lot.
"Nope. I'm not going to the mall," sagot ko. "But I can come with you after I get his gift though?"
Saglit lang naman ako. I'll just get the car and go, bayad naman na iyon.
"Ay, hindi na! I'll just ask Aliyah to come with me!" sagot agad ni Sei.
"I don't mind coming with you." She probably think na ayokong sumama or what. It actually doesn't matter to me. If my friend needs me, I'll be there.
"Sige na nga! I want to hang out with you rin. It's been ages since we last hang out," she said.
"Why would we need to hang out? We're literally always together in Japan, even here," sagot ko.
