Hana's POV
I've tried to go to Haruhi almost every day, but the results are always the same. Pinagtatabuyan ako nito at tinatanggi na siya ang kapatid ni Mom.
I don't know what happened to her before kung bakit ganoon na lang ang pagtanggi niya sa totoo niyang pagkatao. The only thing I know is she was supposed to be the head of Kaito family instead of Mom, but she ran away with her husband because Gramps was against their relationship. She left the throne for love.
I would do that either if someone is going against my future relationship. I'd leave everything I have for love. Especially if it's Shin.
"May balita na ba kay Yuki, Hana?" tanong ni Kiro.
"Why? What happened to that bitch? Did she die?" taas kilay na tanong ni Kim.
Nandito kami ngayon sa canteen, eating lunch. Pumasok na ako ngayon dahil ilang araw na akong absent kakahabol kay Haruhi. Baka madrop ako kung hindi pa ako papasok, and that can't be happen. Mahihiran akong bantayan si Shin. Actually, it's not totally hard because I can watch him from afar all day, but boredom will kill me.
"She's about to die," ngisi kong saad kay Kim.
Nag-iba agad ang ekspresyon nito. Simula nung komprantahin niya ako at niloko ko siya about kay Jack, everything I said na hindi magandang, pinaniniwalaan niya na.
"You should see yourself in the mirror, Kimberly. You look funny," natatawa kong sabi. "Don't worry, I'm just kidding, for now. And Kiro, not very sad to say, but I don't have any new updates about her."
"I see. I hope she's fine," saad nito na may malungkot na tono.
I don't really understand him. Why he's worrying to much about that girl. She literally almost killed him. If I were him, I'd end her life immediately for what she did to me.
"I'm doing my best to make Jack speak," sabi ko, pag-iiba ng usapan
"What?" gulat na tanong ni Kim. "You have Jack? Where is he?!"
"Stop, Kim," mariing pigil ni Shin sa pinsan niya.
"What happened to Jack?" Lahat kami ay napatingin na lang kay Chloe nang magsalita ito. "U-uh, I-i mean..."
"He's doing great," seryosong putol ko agad sa kaniya. "You don't have to worry." Nginisian ko ito at agad siyang nag-iwas tingin.
"I'm not worried!" sigaw nito na ikinabigla namin. "S-sorry. I'm not really worried," yuko nitong sabi.
She's really weird.
Hindi naalis ang tingin ko sa kaniya hanggang sa matapos kaming kumain. Bumalik na rin kami agad sa room after.
While boringly listening to discussion, I got a call from Gun. I immediately raised my hand.
"Excuse me, can I answer this for a second?" paalam ko.
"Sure. Please be quick," mabait na saad nito.
I just nodded and left the classroom to answer the call. Pumunta ako tagong parte ng building, which is sa gilid ng hagdan.
"What?" I said.
["Did I disturb your class?"] tanong ni Gun.
"It's fine, I'm bored anyway. So what's the catch?" agad kong tanong.
This must be important since he called during class hours when he could just call after class. I wonder what it is. Hoping it's good news, like they found Yuki's dead body or Jack finally spoke. I'd definitely run my ass instantly if that's what he's gonna say. I want to hear Jack's confession, especially Yuki's rotten dead body.
