"Where are you taking, Aimi?" Tanong ni Momo nang lumapit siya kasama si Kuya Kaito samin ni Jaxon. Nagulat ako na nakikita pala nila kami.

"I'm taking her to city hall," sabi ni Jaxon na para bang ganoon lang kabilis ang lahat. "Be our witness. I'll marry Aimi today."

"You're kidding, right?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ni Momo sa pinsan.

"When did I joke about getting married, Momo?"

Napailing si Momo at tiningnan ako. "You're marrying that asshole?" Tanong niya sakin.

Napangiwi ako sa tanong ni Momo.

"That's hurt, Momo." Nagtatampong sabi ni Jaxon sa nagbibirong paraan.

"Did we give our permission?" Tanong naman ni Kuya Kaito. "You didn't even ask her parents."

"I'll ask them again. Mamamanhikan kami ngayon. My parents are here."

Nagulat ako sa sinabi ni Jaxon. "You're parents are here?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko.

"Damn! You're that confident that my cousin will accept you huh?" Malamig na tanong ni Kuya Kaito kay Jaxon bago ako tinignan. "Dapat talaga pinahirapan mo iyan, Aimi." Sabi ni Kuya Kaito sakin.

"It's not like that." Sabi ni Jaxon. "I brought them in case your parents won't allow me to have you back. I told my parents to back me up in case I needed their help."

May humaplos sa puso ko dahil sa sinabi ni Jaxon. Hindi ako makapaniwala na gagawin ni Jaxon iyon.

"When I came here, I already accepted that I'll beg for long that I asked my parents help to convince your parents, Aimi." Sabi niya sakin at hinawakan ang mga kamay ko. "I'm desperate."

Ngumiti ako sa sinabi niya. "Thank you for doing that." Sabi ko sa kanya. He smiled and kissed my hand.

"And where did you plan to marry?" Tanong ni Kuya Kaito kay Jaxon.

"To a municipal government office. Kuya Caiden already prepared it for us."

"Wow! I can't believe that you are this confident that my cousin will really say yes."

"I'm not. I just asked Kuya Caiden in advance. Akala ko matatagalan pa pero nagulat din ako na nakahanda na ngayon ang lahat."
