The two beg me repeatedly, Tommy even speaking a bit,
"Take a break!"
"You know I have to get my plan through Congress-"
"Run away with us for the summer, let us go upstate!"
I shake my head.
"I will lose my job if I do not get this plan through Congress."
George pleads with me, grabbing my hand.
"There is a lake I know, in a nearby park! You and I can go?"
"George is right."
Fundy says, backing his brother up.
"I apologize, but so much is on the line."
