Kaili woke the next morning on Xichen's bed and tangled up within a blanket. She managed to pop her head out and saw Xichen was still underdressed. He was only in his trousers and just slipped on a tunic when Kaili popped out. She quickly hid back in the blanket and felt shy. She was surprised Xichen didn't see her as he was facing her.

He had such a great body. He had a six pack, and his pecks were well defined, including his arms. In her mind she thought he was beautiful. So they were attracted to each other...that could be a problem. She wasn't necessarily opposed to being with him but there was a lot of responsibility for him here at his home. There was also the worry for his brother. She will have to keep it to herself for now.

She poked her head out once more and saw he was finally dressed. His hair was not yet dry and put up but he was well enough for her to come out. The problem, she was a bit stuck in the blanket. Kaili got a bit upset and hissed at the blanket. It got Xichen's attention causing him to laugh.

"Are you stuck?" He asked playfully. She hissed at him for once for taunting her. He probably set the blanket like this in the first place, "okay, okay, if you calm down I will help you out."

Xichen went over to the bed and started to untangle the blanket, freeing Kaili. She was now in a mood. She stood up pretty far like a cobra would. It was like she was sizing Xichen up as he teased her.

"Remind me not to tease you so early in the morning," Xichen said, "and a thank you would have been fine."

Kaili watched Xichen walk over to his desk and began to do his hair, because winter is coming soon, would it be possible to have a dirt pot incase you need an herb or plant made? Once snow comes it Will be hard for me to go outside, even as a human, I am cold blooded.

"I will get something for you. I will also get some other stuff to help keep you warm. Especially if I go out and you want to accompany me, you can curl up in my robes like you normally do and stay warm. But you must be hungry, what do I feed you...I'm guessing not just raw meat," Xichen said.

I eat pretty much anything. Raw meat is for normal snakes, I am not a normal snake. I do not eat raw meat...meat has to be in my diet though to maintain my health and energy levels properly.

"We do not have a lot of meat here but I know how to cook, so I can get meat and cook it for you here. Otherwise we usually only provide fish for a meat dish," Xichen said, "we have a more vegetarian diet."

Fish is fine, red meat is more preferable but that is okay. I might be able to go get some things later, she said.

"Do you have a family to return to someday?" He asked.

No I do not. I was made by the gods and they created me though the earth itself. The mother goddess Nuwa, planted a sapling with a clay snake within her enchanted garden. A few months later, I came out of the ground as a little snake. I was then to fend for myself.

About six months after I was created I met with the ghost king I told you about. He and his husband took me in and they treated me like a daughter and eventually little sister as I grew. So I guess you can say they are my family but if you mean biological family like parents, no I do not.

If you are wondering, I can still have a family and conceive children someday but since I was not born like many people have been, I have to learn things differently. This trip is to help me gain human experiences, she explained.
