"I am no longer the Yiling Patriarch, I am here with my fiancé. Also, these two beside me are also here to represent me as they are the reason I have returned, and I will make those who framed me, answer for their crimes. Two of them are already dead. Su MinShan and Xue Yang, both admitted to causing some of the event of the past. They also said they acting under your illegitimate son, Jin Guangyao, who helped Su She curse your nephew and aided in killing your son," Wei Wuxian said.

"You say you are not the Yiling Patriarch, then who are you?" Sect Leader Yao asked.

"I am Wei Wuxian, God and master of Yin and Yang," he answered.

"God? Why would a murderer like you be a god?" Sect Leader Yao asked.

Kaili was now angry. She grew to her large snake form she was when she fought Su She and Xue Yang and was now in the center of the room. She was hissing and only a few feet from Sect Leader Yao.

"Sect Leader Lan, what is the meaning of this?" Jin Guangshan asked.

"This is Ye Kaili, Deity and Snake spirit who bonded with me. Someone in her family was disrespected as she is a goddess. Wei Wuxian is also a god and you have disrespected him. She is defending her own," Xichen explained.

"So she is a goddess, who also has a human form?" Jin Guangshan asked.

"Why do you ask that?" Wuxian asked.

"Then let us see this goddess," Jin Guangshan said. He has a lustful look in his eyes. One that made Lan Xichen not only sick to his stomach but also angry.

Xie Lian and San Lang moved to stand with Kaili, "I am Xie Lian, Crown Prince of the Heavenly Palace and this, is my husband, Hua Cheng," he said as Hua Cheng changed from his San Lang appearance to his original appearance, "Hua Cheng is also known as a Supreme ghost king, Crimson Rain Sought Flower. We were the people who resurrected Wei Wuxian. The gods are very displeased with the sects as they drove an innocent man to death."

"If the gods are angered, it means it is the truth," Nie Mingjue said, "Jin Guangshan, it was not Wei Wuxian who did all those things back then."

"I do not believe you, whether there are gods here or not, Wei Wuxian did it all and I want him dead," he said.

Kaili hissed and slowly moved closer to Jin Guangshan, "I'd be careful Sect Leader Jin. If she bites you, you will be dead in twenty-four hours. You will be paralyzed within two hours and your body will immediately start shutting down. There is only a small window to give you an anti-venom which we do not currently have with us," Xichen explained.

Jin Guangshan suddenly found himself cornered. Even if he wanted to keep blaming Wei Wuxian, he could not win with a giant snake defending the man. Just then a purple electrical whip looped around Kaili's neck. Kaili hissed at the pain. Soon enough she was bound by several ropes and being held by several cultivators. Many other people gasped as they were not expecting someone to harm a deity.

"Let her go!" Lan Xichen demanded, "she belongs to me!"

They did not listen. The pain from Zidian was actually beginning to be too much for Kaili and it was starting to burn her. Being cold blooded it was very painful. Soon she shifted to her human form and all the the bindings loosened and Zidian was removed from her neck. Lan Xichen ran to her immediately. Hua Cheng was furious, and the ground started to tremble.

"Hua Cheng," Kaili managed to get out but her throat hurt, "stop."

"Hua Cheng, they attacked a deity and they will be punished accordingly," Xie Lian said.

Upon seeing Kaili's human form, everyone froze. Seeing that she had silver hair and everlasting beauty, they knew exactly who she was. There were some historical scrolls and shrines set up for her all over the cultivation world. Lan Xichen was angry. Even though others saw her as a snake she was also a goddess and they just attacked her. With her also being engaged with Lan Xichen, they also just made an enemy our of the Lan Sect.

"She is a deity and a spiritual snake, and she is engaged to me!" Lan Xichen yelled, and he never yells, "the Jin Sect just become an enemy to the Lan sect for attacking the future First Madam Lan. That also includes The Yunmeng Jiang Sect."

"Lan Huan?" Kaili sounded weak as the pain from Zidian was too much. Kaili needed to be attended to. A burn from Zidian was actually ten times worse with her because she was close blooded. Even as a deity she could be injured from a spiritual tool. She was immune to poisons and other toxins but Zidian was something she could not fight. She was also impenetrable but again, extreme heat was her weakness.

Lan Xichen lifted her up in his arms and turned to Xie Lian and Hua Cheng, "she will be alright, Xichen. She just needs to recover from the burn. Hua Cheng and I will handle things here. If Wangji and Wuxian want to go with you, they can."

Wangji and Wuxian stayed as they wanted to clear some things up. Lan Qiren left with Lan Xichen to their guest rooms. Kaili was in Xichen's room as he expected her to be a snake but things changed a bit.

"Are you strong enough to grow an herb that you need for the burn?" Xichen asked her.

She nodded, "Soil," she said. Her voice sounded raspy and it was definitely noticeable that she was in pain.

Xichen carried her just outside and next to a small garden. She then grew a few of the herbs she needed. It was similar to what Xichen used for Wangji's back so he had to prepare it the same way. Xichen then took her back inside and laid her down. He carefully helped her roll to one side to get the back of her neck and then she laid on her back so he can get the front of her neck.

"I'm sorry," she said choked back tears.

"Shhh, why are you sorry?" He asked calmly, "you were just protecting your family. If anything we failed to protect you in return."

"Will you hold me?" She asked.

Xichen smiled and laid beside her before pulling her close to him. He then let her wrap her arms around him and her legs tangled with his. Some of her energy would restore by morning so she could go back to being a snake, despite the burn on her neck. Xichen was going livid and wanted to kill Sect Leader Jiang but that was against his morals. He had to keep calm to get through the rest of this week. This conference has only just begun.
