When Xichen and Kaili entered the main hall for the emergency meeting, and the elders were already antsy. Xichen placed a privacy barrier over the room to keep the noise from leaving the room. Since he heard that spies are within the sect, he doesn't want this information heard.

"Xichen, Wangji said something very important was shared with him and actions need to be taken," Lan Qiren said.

Xichen nodded, "not all of you are probably aware, but this person beside me is Ye Kaili. She is a snake spirit and Deity that has bonded with me. I saved her from a couple disciples as she was injured and she repaid me by being my spiritual companion. In the process she has been a big help within the sect. She has recently discovered some information and she is willing to share it with you and we can discuss further on how to proceed," he said.

The elders nodded as they greeted her with respect and kindness. Kaili bowed in respect before speaking, "hello, I have been helping Xichen around the sect when he needs it. I was out in Caiyi earlier today when I ran into a disciple from the Moling Su Sect. An ability of mind is to use hypnosis to manipulate the person I am talking to, to answer questions truthfully and they cannot lie in any way. I asked the disciple why he was here in Caiyi when Moling was a little bit away from the Lan Sect and he said that he was meeting up with some other members of his sect. Those members have dressed in Lan Sect robes and have been roaming freely within Cloud Recesses gathering information and possibly secrets of the sect and sharing it with their sect leader Su She. Apparently those disciples meet once a week to exchange information."

"At first I thought it was because I was just getting too old that I was forgetting faces or names but now that you mention this, I have been seeing some people that I do not recognize as our sect disciples," An elder said.

"We have on file the current residents of the sect. I say we do a surprise mandatory head count and any members that don't have their name on file will be locked up immediately for questioning," another elder suggested.

"Because it involves our security, secrecy, and our values, we will have to do this," Lan Qiren said, "if you do not recognize the face or if you do not see the name on file, take them to the dungeons for questioning. We will have our most trusted disciples watching over them. Maybe we should inform other sects incase they did this stunt with them."

"It is possible, is there anything else that the disciple said to you, Kaili?" An elder asked.

"They said the information was passed to their sect leader who then passes to his partner. I asked who it was but they said they never saw the person. I have a guess who it may be but I do not have proof. I was told that the Moling Su Sect leader was good friends with Jin Guangyao. He is currently being searched for after escaping from the dungeons here as he tried to poison Zewu Jun a while back," Kaili said.

"How did he get away if he was locked up?" Lan Qiren asked.

"The guards on duty said no one came in or out and they never left their post," Lan Xichen replied, "it had also been reported by Kaili that she felt resentment coming off him. So even with his spiritual passage ways sealed, with resentment he could have possibly gotten away."

"Should have locked him in the Mingshi then," an elder said, "spiritual or respectful energy is confined once inside. Only a Lan clan member with special authority can open it up afterwards."

"We will remember that next time," Wangji said sarcastically.

Some of the elders sighed as they were surprised by Wangji's response. Since Wei Wuxian has been back, Wangji has been more vocal with them and has stood up against them for Wei Wuxian a couple times now.

"Since we have decided on that issue, I want to say one more thing," Lan Xichen said, gaining everyone's attention, "as I have said, Kaili has been in my presence for a long time now. Since then, we have started to court each other and we have agreed to a married in the future. I hope you all approve of her."

"Having a deity within the sect is a blessing as it is," An elder said, "we have accepted Wei Wuxian as Lan Wangji's cultivation partner and now we approve of Ye Kaili as yours."

Lan Qiren smiled, "We look forward to having you, Ye Kaili."

Kaili smiled, "so two weddings are going to happen in the future?"

"The engagements will be announced at the next conference meeting. As we suspect, we know there will be some...chaos at that meeting when the word of Wei Wuxian returning comes out," Lan Qiren said, "I cannot believe I will be present for that meeting, but I have to be there."

"San Lang and Xie Lian will be around as well but they will be hidden, until they are needed," Kaili said, "I will be their as a snake at first as it is will make me look more intimidating."

"May we see your snake form?" An elder asked.

"All I ask is to avoid touching at the moment, my snake just shed and her skin is still a bit sensitive. She at least tolerates Xichen. I also have let the healers collect my venom for an anti-venom in case it is ever needed," she explained.

The elders nodded and Kaili shifted to her snake form. She was now her ten foot snake splayed out before them. Xichen knelt down and extended his hand to let her coil up around him for stability. As she coiled around Xichen, she rested her head on his shoulder as she always did. The elders were taken back but the large snake in the room but they seemed more intrigued by her then anything.

So far, the sect has been welcoming to her and have accepted Wei Wuxian into the family as well. They know of Wei Wuxian's truth and hearing that he is now the new Yin and Yang Master and god now as well, it was be stupid to not have him within the sect. With Ye Kaili and Wei Wuxian, the Lan Sect was becoming a very powerful and strong sect. Many other sects might find it difficult to accept but they are all ready to face it. The other sects would be stupid to go after a sect protected by gods.
