Kaili woke the following morning feeling very relaxed. Her mind was a little dazed as she was still slightly adjusting to reality again from her slumber. She suddenly realized that her dream that night was not a dream. She was now married to Lan Xichen, and they had a hot and fun night together last night. As she was laying on her side, she looked up to see she was snuggling up to Xichen, her head resting on his chest. She smiled as a giggle slipped out of her mouth.
Kaili then felt a couple of gentle fingers brushing lightly against her back. She only tightened her arms around him more, "Are you awake?" She asked.
"Mnn," Xichen replied, "have been since the normal waking hours of the sect."
"How long have I been sleeping since you woke?" Kaili asked.
"At lease two hours," he responds, "I do not mind, you are very cute when you are sleeping. Who would have thought after such exciting activities last night, you'd start talking in your sleep."
Kaili propped herself up in her elbow, "did I say anything specific?" She asked.
"You just kept saying my name," Xichen told her.
"Ish," she groaned as she rolled to her back, "anything else?"
"Yes....you said more," he said with a mischievous grin on his face.
Kaili sighed and crawled on top of him. She then pinned his hands on either side of his head, "do you wish to continue to provoke me? I may be your wife now but I still have the mischievous heart of a snake. I could feed on you all day if I wanted to. After all you are only newly ascended, you are not as strong as I am...even with your Lan arm strength."
Xichen swallows some saliva that caused his mouth to water. His body was immediately reacting to her being like this, "I might just let you devour me. You being like this is such a turn on."
Kaili placed a kiss on his cheek, then his lips, "I might, but did we not agree to spend a few weeks away from the sect?" She asked letting his arms go.
Xichen sat up fast and wrapped his arms around her waist, "we did, do you any place in mind?"
"I do, but do you need to make any arrangements here before we leave?" Kaili asked.
"We can talk to Shufu after breakfast," he said. Kaili nodded. As the two were nude, Kaili could feel Xichen's little friend between his legs liven up a bit. Kaili smirked and ground her hips against him. Xichen let out a quiet moan, "oh, Kaili."
"Since we have some time, want to have a round before we go anywhere?" She asked.
"Contraceptive?" He asked.
Kaili snapped her fingers and the herbs to prepare the contraceptive tea were now sitting on the table, "we can prepare it after," she said and ground her hips again.
Xichen flipped them over very quickly and did not hesitate to take her as she wanted. The two felt so comfortable together as they loved each other that morning. Afterwards, Xichen and Kaili had a bath before Kaili prepared her tea. They then went to the dining hall to eat and then meet with Lan Qiren after. Lan Wangji and Wuxian would help run the sect with Lan Qiren while Kaili and Xichen were away for a few weeks. After saying their goodbyes, Kaili took Xichen to the place where she was born.
"I told you how I was created, correct?" She asked.
"You said Nuwa used a seedling and a snake made of clay and planted them into the ground. After some time you came out in your snake form," Xichen said.
"This location is where I was placed after I was created by Nuwa. I spent the first five thousand years of my life here. When I reached three thousand years old, I gained my human form. I was around the ages between six to ten in mortal years. I had to learn to hunt and fend off other spiritual creatures. Hua Cheng happened to come across this place and he treated me as a little sister. I was human by then. He even made a house for me. This land is actually filled with so much spiritual energy, that you could just feel it as you walk around."
"I have noticed that," Xichen said.
"As we are here, I was given permission, especially since I am your wife, to help train you. To help you learn your new abilities and maybe even see if you any special skills. Xie Lian taught me how to spot them. It helps determine what kind of god you could become with time," Kaili explained.
As the two arrived to the place Kaili grew up for a good while, they came across the house Hua Cheng built for her.
"There is a spiritual spring right out back, and there are so many peach blossom trees," Xichen said.

"Mnn," Kaili hummed, "this place is not just mine anymore...it is also yours...it is ours."
"I look forward to exploring the place with you," Xichen said, "but, are we going to be in danger if we run into other spiritual creatures?"
"No, unless they are newer I am very well known here. Snake and human. So we are safe. Plus you are a god too, they do not bother you. Especially if you have a spiritual companion already," Kaili said.
"Well, wife now," Xichen corrected.
Kaili smirked, "the only thing you may have to worry about is other spiritual snakes, but as you are mine, you should be fine."
"I am not immune to them right?" Xichen asked.
"Correct, but I can grow herbs to counter the venom. Even without the anti-venom, I can cure you. As I am a snake any anti-venom will work. We have mine here with us but you will be safe. I have you very protected," Kaili said.
"Good to know," he said.
