Ye Kaili was created gods. She was a deity, and snake spirit. At thirty thousand years of age, she was to live in the cultivation world for some time to learn the ways of the people.
On her first day in the cultivation...
Kaili was doing a lot better and her energy was pretty much restored. It was now snowing so it was colder. Lan Xichen made sure that there was always places around the Hanshi for her to curl up in to stay warm. He also made sure he had a fire going in his little fireplace. Kaili was stretched out across the floor. As a snake, Kaili was ten feet long (120 inches/304.8 cm/3.048m...if my conversions are wrong I apologize. I am from America so we use inches not centimeters or meters. Why we are different? I have no clue).
With Kaili stretched out, she was making her way over to Xichen. He was at his desk reading and answering letters. Xichen had a spot on his desk specifically made for Kaili to curl up and chill out in. So she curled up and laid in a coil. Her head was facing Xichen. Xichen always found her being cute when she was coiled up. Her little head popping out of whatever nook or cranny she was in he would always coo at.

As she was just getting comfortable and relaxed, she sensed someone else's presence coming. It was a presence she didn't like very much. She already made a hissing noise to show she was not wanting to welcome the person in. Xichen, who was always polite, let him in anyway. He knows something about this person Kaili does not like. He just wished he knew what that was. The two sat at Xichen's desk and Kaili kept her gaze on the man that was just invited inside, Jin Guangyao.
"She still finds my presence uncomfortable, huh?" Jin Guangyao asked.
"I am not sure why, she is normally very calm and kind," Xichen said.
"Maybe she just doesn't know me," Jin Guangyao said.
Kaili was now up a few feet, her body stretching upward and her head was now at Jin Guangyao's eye level. She was now looking a bit intimidating to him. It was like she was letting the man know that this was her domain.
"If I offended you in some way, I apologize," Jin Guangyao said to Kaili.
Kaili was no fool. He looked nice and sweet but she could feel his emotions. He was tense but he had a good amount of confidence in him. Kaili could tell that this man in front of her had a good mask, and not many people have noticed. Kaili hissed and laid back down in a coil. Her head was still in view so she can keep watch on Jin Guangyao. She could still feel that small but of malicious energy coming from him but she could not tell what it was. It was being suppressed so she cannot get passed that.
Kaili didn't want to be around the man too long so she slithered from her spot and off the desk and went to a makeshift bed made for her near the fire pit. She coiled up again when she was there but faced the two men. She kept an eye on Jin Guangyao as she felt he has some sort of bad intentions.
After a little while, Kaili wanted to move around for a while. She started to slither around the room keeping watch on Jin Guangyao. She saw some sort of small vile in his hand and realized he had some sort of serum. She then slithered over to the desk and moved to curl up in her spot on the desk beside Xichen. Kaili was very well alert now and kept a fierce gaze on Jin Guangyao.
