When everyone was in the Hanshi, Kaili remained a snake and wrapped around Xichen. Being that she just shed, she doesn't want to be touched by anyone else. Xichen could understand that so he let her be. She was wrapped around his torso like usual, and her head draped over his shoulder, tucked into the crook of his neck. She was feeling very comfortable and wanted to be as close to him as possible.

"Is she okay?" Wuxian asked as he was wondering why Kaili was acting so strange.

"She is alright. Her skin is sensitive as she just shed and doesn't want to be touched much. She is being very close to me as it must be soothing for her. I do not mind. I think it's cute," Xichen said.

"You would find her snake cute," San Lang teased.

Kaili heard him and lifted her head a bit to stare at him. She hissed at him as a warning not to mess with her. Even if she bit San Lang, her venom had no effect on him as he is a ghost king. San Lang laughed a little as he got a reaction out of her.

"One of these days she is going to bite you," Xie Lian warned.

"I think you are probably right, but it won't effect me much," San Lang said.

"Well don't tempt her," Xie Lian said.

Wuxian cleared his throat, "so we came here because Zewu Jun has information on a new sect that formed recently?" He asked.

"First, Wei Wuxian, you can call me Xichen or Xichen-Ge, if you feel comfortable. Also, talking about the new sect, it is the Moling Su Sect located in Moling. The sect leader is a former member of the Lan Sect Su She, Su MinShan. It is said that he has copied our sect's image by using the guqin as a first class spiritual weapon," Xichen explained.

"Can a sect do that? Copy an other one?" Wuxian asked.

"In a way, yes as Moling is a branch of Gusu. So they can, it is frustrating but they can," Xichen said.

"Why would a former member start a new sect?" Wuxian asks, "why did he leave?"

"He didn't leave, he was expelled from the sect," Wangji answered, "during the Wen Ambush, he betrayed the sect by giving them our secrets."

Wuxian's mouth dropped open, "has this new sect done anything suspicious at all?"

"I remember during the conference meetings in Lanling after the Sunshot campaign, Su She and Jin Guangyao hung out fairly often," Xichen said.

"So it is possible that the two are working together if Jin Guangyao was the one who framed me," Wuxian said.

Xichen nodded. He was still trying to get over being betrayed but he has been better since he had those talismans removed and he is with Kaili again. Kaili brings him a sense of peace and security that he desperately needed and wanted. He has been working extra hard just to make it up to her for what happened between them. He isn't to be blamed that much because his mind was messed with by someone but he still wanted to make it up to her.

Kaili could tell Xichen was anxious about something and she sent him some of her tranquil energy. She then slither around a bit so her face was in front of his. Her nose rested on Xichen's.

"It will be alright. I am still here, and I am coiled up around you. Try to relax your thoughts," she coaxed.

Lan Xichen smiled and let out a deep breath, "thank you," he said.

"Anything for my twin Jade," she said and booped her nose to his once more before nuzzling her face back into the crook of Xichen's neck.

"That was cute, what did she just do?" Wuxian asked.

"Calming me down," Xichen said, "I was getting a bit worked up."

"That was kind of her," Wuxian said, "and...I am sorry about him."

Xichen shook his head, "I am slowly getting over it," he said, "since those talismans have been cleared out, I have actually been doing a lot better. Half of it is because of this girl here."

Kaili hissed but it was out of shyness. She then turned and hid behind Xichen within his hair. Xichen laughed a little as he felt her hiding. The others found it cute as well. They eventually cleared out of the Hanshi and Kaili moved to hang out on Xichen's bed. Her body stretched out across it.

Lan Xichen was at his desk in his bedroom to keep Kaili company in case she needed anything. With everything that has happened, he and Kaili were actually pretty exhausted and they were still trying to find Jin Guangyao and now they had to deal with Su She.

Xichen had a conference meeting in Lanling coming up in a month's time. Kaili said she would go with him but as a snake as she was more threatening the way. She had a gut feeling that Jin Guangyao is just hiding in Lanling behind his father. Wei Wuxian was also coming with Lan Wangji as he was ready to come back to the world. He would be very protected as well.

It was going to be a very eventful meeting so Kaili had be there. Xie Lian and San Lang were going to be there but hiding in plain sight. Wei Wuxian was going to start announcing to everyone that he will find out who wronged him and will take revenge. He isn't necessarily happy about seeing Jiang Wanyin but he knows they have to face each other sooner or later.

Lan Xichen sighed as he felt there was a lot of drama getting ready to take place. He moved over to sit in the bed beside Kaili, "Hey A'Li," Xichen said calmly.

Kaili was stretched out and moved to stand up a bit to get eye level with Xichen, "stressed out?" She asked.

"A little bit," he answered, "I am not sure if I am ready for the conference meeting yet, but at the same time, it gives us a little bit of time to gather some information and evidence."

"I believe in you, I will be with you," she said, "if you don't want anyone specific to die you might want to bring some anti-venom, just in case."

"With everything that could possibly happen, it's probably not a bad idea...speaking of, time to collect," Xichen said getting up and got the jar used to collect Kaili's venom.

Kaili hissed as she was not really in the mood but she knew it was for the better so she gave in. Xichen gave her water and nice pets afterwards as a reward. She even slithered between his legs and rested her head in his thigh. Xichen carefully brushed his thumb over her head to pet her. He was also so enticed by her. Human or snake she was beautiful to him and she was his. He wanted to have more of her but with everything that happened he is taking things a day at a time. He loves her enough to let her keep the pace. He just adjusts to what she is comfortable with. He hasn't even kissed her yet but he loves her all the same.
