- AURELIA JONES-

"What the hell is going on?" I woke up to screaming.

Shooting up from my blanket, I saw the boys in front of me, staring at each other like they want to rip their heads off.

"Woah- guys. Calm down-"

"Shut up Aurelia, you don't get a say in this." Rez spat.

"Don't talk to her like that." Jace defended. I shrugged, "He's right. I don't get a say. Mainly because I don't care. I'll let you boys fight it out." I said simply.

"Where are you going?" Jace asked.

I ignored him and tied my laces, getting up and leaving before things could escalate.

It was early hours of the morning. The sky is just waking up, a cool fog resting on the hills.

I sat atop a rock close to the tree line I'd discovered a couple days ago.

It's become my new favorite spot.

I came here to write. And to think. Mainly to think. I have a lot on my mind.

I don't care what the boys are up too. If they've killed each other, if they've solved their issue.

I don't care.

I probably should go back, but I'm filled with so much betrayal. I want to move on and find somewhere to resided where I live until I die.

Or until I end myself.

Not to be morbid or anything, but it's the second most possible outcome of this whole thing.

I swung my legs and leaned against the branch, looking up at the growing rain clouds and dark skies.

The hair on my arms suddenly stood up, and a chill ran down my spine.

I turned to my left when a twig snapped. "Jace? Is that you?" I called out.

"Ollie?"

No response.

My face dropped and my blood ran cold when I looked down at the heard of walkers crowding around my feet.

"Oh my FUCK!" I screamed.

I scrambled for my gun, only to realise I left it at home. I'm so stupid, how could I leave without it?

The boys don't know I left, they won't know where I am.

The walkers bumped into the tree, shaking it and making me fall, latching onto the branch with every ounce of strength.

I tried to move, "Help!" I screamed,

"JACE! HELP ME!" I yelled, and shouted and pleaded that he would hear me. That someone would save me.

The walkers aren't smart, but they aren't that dumb either.

They starting piling on top of each other, using their abilities to hold on and make a mountain high enough to reach me on the branch.

I started to panic, climbing to the highest branch, wishing to fall to my death rather than be an infected.

I climbed until all that was left was a stump and a few leaves. Nothing I could protect myself from.

Although when I looked down, it looked higher than I liked.

Everything moved in slow motion. My heart stopped, like it knows I'm going to die.

I prayed to God, I wished for a miracle.

Tears streamed down my face, shaking hands tightly holding the stump that I'm tempted to jump from any minute.
