- AURELIA JONES -

The marking on the wall was a dead giveaway, the memories of this place immediately flashing through my mind.

A + J, carved into the wall.

"I thought the explosion destroyed this place? How the hell are we back here?" I questioned.

Ollie had regained enough strength to walk around, banging on the bars and trying to pull them off the wall. It was rusted shut.

"It's not going to come off." I sighed, "We're trapped in here."

He stood on his toes, peeking through the window above him, "We're on the ground, I can see the sky and the edge of the grass." He announced, "Wow. There's nothing here except this- concrete cage!"

"FUCK." He screamed angrily, banging his fists against the barred door, "Be careful. Please, don't hurt yourself more than you already are."

Without putting to much pressure on his injured foot, he hobbled around the small cell. "They can't just leave us in here right? I mean, somebody knows where in here otherwise we wouldn't be here?"

I shrugged, "People are cruel, Ol. We wouldn't be here if it weren't for them. No ones coming for us."

Ollie sighed, slumping against the bars. "I just wish I was there with you. I don't want to die alone in here." His voice cracked at the end of the sentence, tears welling in his eyes.

"We're not going to die." Ollie scoffed, like he didn't believe me.

Not even I believe me.

"I hope the others are okay."

"They're strong, they will be."

"I hope Lyza's okay."

Silence.

My head thumped, dried blood sticking to my neck. I gazed around the room, "Back when we were happy." I mumbled.

"Huh?" Ollie questioned.

"The carving on the wall. I put it there when Jace and I first go together."

Ollie leaned his head on the wall, his eyes closing. "We're never getting out of here."

As much as I wanted to disagree with him, I was doubtful.

"Can you see anything outside? Or anyone?" I asked him, he shook his head. "I saw nothing. Just- grass."

"Grass, trees and fucking grass." He said through clenched teeth, "Nothing."

I hung my head, "Try the door again. The bolts in the door seemed to loosen the second time."

Ollie stood up, shaking the rusted bars again as it rattled. The metal clanged against itself, indicating that something was happening.

"There's a bolt lock on yours. Looks pretty rusty though, if I can get-" He didn't get to finish his sentence as the door to his cell fell to the floor with a loud bang.

I blinked, looking up at him with wide eyes. "...Through." He finished.

"How the hell?" I muttered.

Quickly, Ollie rushed to my door, trying to shake the thing off. The heavy bolt clanged against the bars, but it didn't seem to budge.

"Is there anything you can use to hit the bolt? Like a rock or something?" I asked, frantic.

My head felt light and my arms were tired. All the feeling from my hands was gone and my fingertips were tingling.

Ollie kept trying to pull the door but nothing seemed to work, "It doesn't want to move, Lia. I don't know what to do." He admitted.
