Carters POV
Todays the day I test these idiots to become real bandits. I have high hopes. Not sure why because I'm sure someone will fuck up. I stood in the living room and took a deep breath. I looked back into the kitchen at the stove to see the time. I picked up my pans but when I went to slam them together, I couldn't move my arm. Siren walked out of the hallway humming a tune. The same tune that's keeping my hand in the air. "Siren. Let me go" I said. She shook her head. "You know I can still drop the pan right?" I asked. She continued humming and the pans floated out of my hands and back into the kitchen. She let go of me as the others walked out into the living room. "You guys got up?" I asked surprised. "Yeah. The alarm on our phones sounds better than whatever it is you do" Oliver said. "I'm impressed." I said. "You're welcome" Emma and Tony said. "Thanks guys" I said.

I'm having Tony run the timer so I can watch everyone go through the course. All the supers and Courtney have gone. Clay is going right now and Emma's next. "And, time!" Tony said. Clay ran back over to us. "Good job" Tony said. "Did I get the time?" Clay asked. Tony showed me the stop watch. "Yep" I said. "Yes!" Clay said. "Emma. You're up" I said. She went to the front of the course. "Ready? Go!" Tony said starting the timer. I watched closely as Emma went through the first phase quickly. Phase two started and after her first shot, something went wrong. She dived behind a wall and beat her gun against the ground. My eyes widened. If its jammed, she wont be able to get through the course. I started biting my thumbnail. "Come on tween" I whispered. Emma ditched her gun and ran back into the course. "What is she doing?" I asked aloud. I watched in awe as Emma took down the targets without her gun. Even in phase three, she didn't have a problem. My jaw is on the floor. "Time!" Tony said stopping the timer. His jaw dropped looking at the timer. Emma came over to me, out of breath. "Just tell me I failed. There's no way I did that good without a gun" she said. I looked at the timer. My eyes widened even more. Tony and I looked at each other in shock. "Why are you guys being weird?" Emma asked. We looked at her. "You just broke the time record" Tony said. "You set a new high score" I said. Emma raised an eyebrow. "Really?" She asked. "Yeah" I smiled. Emma smiled back. The others came over to us. "Good job Emma!" Siren said. "Congratulations! You guys are officially bandits!" I said. They all cheered.

Emma's POV
I cant believe I got the highest score. I messed up and I still passed with flying colors. I'm so happy. Its later now. I'm changing. I pulled my pants up right as my door opened. The lack of knocking told me who it was. "Jeez Carter! I'm changing. What the hell!" I said. Thank god my back is faced to her. "I see that" she says. I grabbed my shirt off the dresser and quickly put it on. "What do you want?" I asked pulling my hair out of my shirt. "I wanted to tell you that I'm really proud of you. You did amazing today" she said. I turned to her. "Thank you" I said. "Night tween" she said. She turned to leave, but I didn't want her to go. "Carter" I said. She stopped. "Using my own tricks on me?" She asked turning to me. I giggled. "I- uh-" I stuttered. She raised an eyebrow. I took a deep breath. "Will you stay?" I asked. Her eyebrows shot up in shock. "You want me to sleep in here with you?" She asked. I felt the heat run through my face. "I mean, you don't have to if you don't want to" I said, nervously grabbing my arm. She stared at me for a moment and then smiled. "Let me change first. Even I wouldn't sleep in a leather jacket" she said. "Wait really?" I asked excitedly. "Duh, its uncomfortable" she said. "No. I meant, you're really gonna stay?" I asked. She walked to me. "I saw something in you today. Something different, and I liked it" she said. I smiled. She left to go change and I quietly squealed with excitement.

Stephanie's POV
"Courtney, have you seen my phone?" I asked. "No. Ask Carter. She seems to know everything we do" she said. I hesitated. Carters scary. I sighed. "Alright" I said. I went to Carters room and knocked on the door. I don't even know if she's awake. Id be confused if she wasnt. She usually gets up super early in the mornings but not today. No one answered. I knocked again and again but no one answered. "Carter?" I asked. Nothing. I opened the door to find no one. I went to Emma's door. Since she's 'little miss prodigy,' I figured she'd know where Carter is. I knocked on her door. "Emma? Do you know where Carter is?" I asked. There was a short silence. "Emma?" I asked. "Yeah" she called out. The door opened and I was greeted with Carter. My eyes widened. "Am I interrupting?" I asked. "No. And you're not gonna say anything about this or Ill tell Courtney about your feelings" she said, holding out her hand. I groaned and put an imaginary bullet in her hand. "What do you want?" She asked. "Never mind. Not worth having to stand here in this awkward situation" I said.

I walked back into my room. "Found it" Courtney said, tossing my phone to me. "Thanks. What are you doing?" I asked. I laid back down on my bed. "Putting away laundry" she said. She came over to me and laid back against my chest. I got red. "I'm bored" she said. "Don't you have work?" I asked, trying to distract myself from her sitting between my legs right now. "Not today" she said. I cant look at her. I just stared straight forward. She looked up at me. "Are you ok? You look pale" she said. That's probably because I cant breathe. "Yeah I'm fine" I said. She sat up and turned to face me. She sat on her knees in front of me. "Stormy you're burning up. You better not have gotten the super-flu again" she pointed at me. I laughed. "No, I'm not sick" I said. "Are you sure?" She asked. "Heart sick maybe" I mumbled. "What?" She asked. "Nothing" I said, looking back at her. She looks confused. "Stephanie... I heard you. I'm just confused. Why are you heart sick?" She asked. I tensed. "I- uh-" I stuttered. I sighed. "Don't freak out?" I asked. She nodded. I looked to the side. "I'm crushing on you" I said, hesitantly. She raised an eyebrow. "That's an awful excuse for your behavior" she said. "I'm not lying Courtney" I said. "Yeah right" she said, rolling her eyes. "Courtney. I have a crush on you" I said. "No. You don't" she said, getting off me. I looked at her confused. "Why don't you believe me?" I asked. She grabbed her bandit jacket and slipped it on. "I'm going out" she said, ignoring me. "Courtney" I stood up. She quickly walked out the door, leaving me utterly confused.
