OTHER HALF.

3 YEARS LATER....

Tshegofatso hurried up walking along the varsity premises.It was her first day and she was already late.5 minutes late.She looked as one student walked slowly holding her books.she looked like she knew her way around here.She hurried to her.

Tshego:Hey.
Hey:Hey.
Tshego:Tshegofatso here.
Her:Koketso.
Tshegofatso:Oh hey koketso,I'm new here or i don't know my way around and I'm already late.where is the business management class?.
Koketso:Okay no problem...I'm also going there.lets walk together.
Tshegofatso:Great then.

They walked along chatting.guess she now has a friend.first day isn't really bad she guessed.

At Barona house,With her legs ontop of the table.Relebohile watched her Favorite series on Netflix.she dipped her hand in the the home made pop corns that filled the whole bowl.She laughed out loud as she watched the funny part.

Onthatile walked in from her bedroom holding her 2 years old daughter.she looked at Relebohile who was focused on whatever she was watching.She shook her head then took the remote and switched the Tv off.Relebohile turned and looked at her mother.she removed her legs from the table as Onthatile sat down.

Onthatile:Rele my child.please tell me.what is your plan with your life?
Relebohile:(Cleared her throat)My life?.
Onthatile:Yes your life my child.Yes you failed your matric but that does not mean that you just sit around the whole day doing nothing.you just can't.so what now.you will just sit around for the rest of your life because trust me my child if you think you will get a job then forget about it.all jobs needs a matric certificate now.
Relebohile:I can't go back to school.
Onthatile:Then rewrite.go and upgrade your results because the world is cruel out there especially when you have nothing.do something man,go to college . you can't rely on us forever.Please try to do something with your life.
Relebohile:Okay.
Onthatile:Okay?What are you opting for?.
Relebohile:I will rewrite.
Onthatile:Okay then.i will try and talk to someone I know.see if they still have space or what.because the rewriting classes long started.
Relebohile:Okay.
Onthatile:You may feel like I'm being too much but trust me my child ,I'm doing what's best for you.
Relebohile:(Smiled)Okay thanks.

Khangelwa walked through the Tourism company premises.she walked in through the door heading straight to the receptionist desk.her heels being heard from a distance.she flipped her weave with nice layed edges.in her formal wear.She smiled as the receptionist finished off her phone call.

Khangelwa:Hello.
Receptionist:Hello.welcome to motso travel and adventurous events.how can we help You?.
Khangelwa:I'm here for the interview.
Receptionist:Okay mam.please use the escalator,go straight to the third floor and you will see two ladies waiting outside, join them they are also here for the interview.
Khangelwa:Huuu so there's a lot of us?.
Receptionist:just be confident,and you will get the job.
Khangelwa:(smiled)Thank you,I needed that.

The receptionist smiled at her and she went straight to the escalator.she got in and it let her straight to where she was directed to.she looked at the two ladies who also came for an interview then said dowm joining then.Her hope had dies down.they probably had experience while she had none.she sighed trying to calm down.

Jamani walked in his house from work.he looked at the takeaways that were by the sink.he looked at the dust around the house then sighed feeling lonely.he had never felt so lonely.he never thought of Khangelwa like he did now.Maybe suggesting a divorce and actually divorcing her was a little bit to much.but it was never late to do the right thing right?.maybe if he suggested they get back together she would he up for it.he thoughtfully put the car keys on the holder before heading straight to the shower.

"So ,you stay in campus of off campus?"Koketso asked Tshegofatso as they walked out of their lectur hall.

Tshegofatso:In campus.and you.
Koketso:Off.i live with my parents.
Tshegofatso:I just wanted time off from my parents.you know get to enjoy the varsity life.
Koketso:At least you had it with your parents.mina growing up my parents were always working, they still are.so I barely spend time with them.imagine if I lived in campus it would be worse.
Tshegofatso:Ohh I get you.do you have any siblings.
Koketso:No,I'm the only child.
Tshegofatso:Ohh must he nice.
Koketso:It's not trust me.i envy the life of having siblings.and you.
Tshegofatso:I have a twin sister,a little brother and little sister.
Koketso:Ohh that's cool.girl I will see you tomorrow, my driver is here.
Tshegofatso:Bye.

Koketso hurried to the car that was waiting for her.

Jamani hurried out of his house while on a phone call.

Jamani:I thought that we agreed that we are not keeping the child.i even gave you money to get abortion pills.
Voice:Well she escaped the pill,so what must i do.cut my self then strangle the child to dearth?.
Jamani:Nthabiseng whatever happened between us was a mistake that shouldn't happen again.What will Khangelwa say if you decide to keep that child.please abort.
Nthabiseng:(Laughed)Hee you are such a fool of a man.you think Khangelwa will take you back after you left her when she needed you the most?.And I can still ahve this child with Khangelwa around. You are not her husband so?.
Jamani:Please don't keep that child.it was a mistake that shouldn't have happened.
