Saturday came much quicker than anyone expected.

The bride was currently in the bridal suit waiting for the hair stylist to come. She stared aimlessly at the window that shadowed the morning sky.

It was barely past 8:00 am and her soon to be sister in law was talking her ears out. Lydia was still unsure as to why Alayah was so excited for this union.

"Where are they?" Lydia suddenly spoke cutting Alayah off.  The women lifted her phone from the table and checked it.

"They should be here in a couple minutes. Also cheer up! You look more depressing than Leo, and that should be offensive" She replied.

"Leo?" Lydia questioned confused who that was.

"That's Aleksei's middle name. Well his full middle name is Leonardo, but no one call him that besides my dad when hes about to beat him for something stupid he did.

Like one day, he pranked one of the guards on duty and it stained the front of the palace doors. My dad was so mad he took his dress shoes and chased him around the palace with it before he finally jumped out the window and somehow had an escape area. Everyone was freaked out"

If his face spoke hiss actions, Leo would've been dead" Alayah ended while laughing at the time her elder brother turned the palace upside down.

Lydia couldn't help but let out a laugh. That boy was definitely interesting. Just as the conversation continued their was a knock on the door.

"Come in" Alayah yelled out as she put her down from the table. The head guard walked in and gave Alayah a look but then immediately turned his emotions off once he realized the presence of Lydia.

"Here is the drinks you ordered Princess" He said in a cold tone as he handed her the bag. She smirked at him before taking it from his hand.

"Thank you! You may leave" She replied. He nodded at her bowing before he turned around and left the room closing the door behind him.

Alayah took the coffee out and gave Lydia her drink while she placed hers on the side table. As Lydia received her drink and sipped on it, she raised her brows at Alayah.

"So how long have you been together?" She asked nonchalantly. Alayah's eyes slightly widened before they became playful.

"Are we that bad at hiding it?" She whined causing her to laugh.

"I'm surprised your father didn't notice. He seems like someone who would raise hell for you?" Lydia said with a surprised look as she took another sip. Alayah was about to reply but got stopped again with another knock.

This time it was the stylists.

"Come in" Alayah yelled again.

"Our deepest apologies for the tardiness. We didn't realize the road would be that slow" They said while greeting the royals.
