is dad short or is Russia just a tree?

This Russia guy seems to be pretty popular with most of my siblings, and I don't blame them.
He's a chill guy, although I'm not really fond of him I'm neutral with him,as long as he doesn't take my sunglasses we won't have any problems.
It seems he doesn't mind them though, he doesn't really mind anything any of us wear which is nice, although he did suggest I cover up a little more in public in case any perverts want to have a look at what he calls "partner's only box". He's ok with what I'm wearing, he just wants me to be safe with it.
It also seems that my dad has a slight liking to Russia, a platonic liking, but liking nonetheless.
Alaska especially likes him way more than our other siblings, but that's expected since she knows him personally.
Everyone knew she had a positive opinion on him and that she had a false positive relationship with dad, although due to Russia being childishly friendly, she's acting a lot more friendly to both dad and us.
She's basically a whole new person!
I sigh and put out the cigarette I was smoking. Dad doesn't like that I smoke but he knows it won't affect me even a bit because land people don't get cancer so it doesn't matter.
I walk back inside to see Russia hugging my dad tightly, tightly as in feet being on the floor is no longer an option.
Dad's 5'2 and I have no clue how tall Russia is, but it's definitely above 6'5, which would explain why dad is far above the floor.
America:" RUSSIA LET GO!"
Russia:"Why? I like having you like this shorty!"
America:" I'm not short! You're just tall!"
Russia:"America, you're 5'2 and I'm 6'11 and a half, almost 7ft. Plus you're not even close to the average size of an adult man, you're just tiny!"
America:"I'm aware of that! But you're almost the size of an average mother ducking house! You're just really tall!"
Russia:" What do you mean? My dad is 7'3."
America:" Your entire family is built of trees!"
As I watch, I realize how funny this situation is.
My dad is squirming for dear life as he's being held hostage is the most affectionate way possible.
Russia:" No we're not, your family is just built of bushes."
America:"Ok, that's a new one, did you just come up with that because I called your family trees? Because Canada is taller than your siblings."
Russia:" Exactly, we're not built of trees!"
America:" Yes you are! Canada is just tall!"
Russia:" Nah, she's just an overgrown bush"
That's when I cleared my throat.
NYS:" The average height for an adult man in America is 5'9 and in Russia it's 5'10, dad you're just short and Russia, you're huge."
America:"SEE! YOU'RE ENTIRE FAMILY IS JUST BUILT OF TREES!"
Russia:"And you're tiny!"
NYS:"Ukraine is meant to be taller than you Russia, 5'11 is the average height in his country, you just got lucky. Belarus makes sense as the average for a woman 5'5, and Kazakhstan the average height is 5'8, the only girl in your family is taller than him from what Ukraine says."
America:" I TOLD YOU! YOU'RE FAMILY IS HUGE! MADE OF GIANTS!"
Russia:"And I told you, your family is tiny, especially your dad. You're taller than your own father, be proud of that."
NYS:" Height aside, are you going to put my dad down?"
Russia:"No! It's cute when he squirms to get out of my affectionate grasp!"
NYS:"Hold on cute?! You do know my dad is stepping out of the dating pool right?"
Russia then looked confused and my dad.... He's extremely flustered.
Russia:"I call my friends and partners cute! It just depends on how I say it. If it's with my girlfriend, I say it's really flirty but with my friends, it's real childish."
NYS:"You have a girlfriend?"
Russia:"Yeah, she's a real sweetheart! Although she has been kinda.... I don't want to get into it, but I do want to get into your father's head! By being one of the greatest friends!"
NYS:"Every sentence you say makes it seem like you have a romantic interest in my father, but then you pull an uno reverse."
He blinked before he laughed a bit.
Russia:" Nah, I would never! Israel and Alaska are all I need!"
Russia said that very proudly, too probably... it almost seems fake but it's most probably just me overthinking it as this guy is new to my life and this is happening with my dad.
