Narrator
"Y/N are you okay?" A familiar voice spoke to her causing her to jump.
LJ was coming down the stairs and he had a curious expression.
She takes a deep breath before she huffed.
"Not really...I just realized that it is my day off. And I am awake this early for nothing!"
She said visibly upset.
The male tilted his head briefly before he spoke.
"Why not go to bed now?"
He asked.
"Because I am already too awake to go to sleep..."
She said as she covered her face for a moment.
After a few seconds she uncovered her face to see LJ sit next to her on the couch which caused her to get nervous.
"Uh-um...you hungry? I'll make you some breakfast." She said as she rapidly got up from the couch and got into the kitchen.
The male chuckled and shook his head for a moment.
'She is really adorable.' He thought to himself as he admired her from a far.
He felt a sense of relief, after just accepting the feelings that he had for her. Everything seemed easier.
There was some silence as neither of them knew what to say.
Although there was much to talk about on both ends.
On one hand Laughing Jack needed to ask her if she would be willing to meet with a faceless man with tentacles to just chat; and convince her that she wouldn't be in danger.
On the other hand Y/N wanted to talk about the fact that she confessed to a literal serial killer; and he hadn't said anything about it.
"Here's your food." She said as she walked back to the male and handed him a bowl of oatmeal.
He smiled and thanked her, as well as inviting her to sit next to him yet again.
Her face visibly red as she sat down, giving in to his request. She looked at her hands as she fiddled with her fingers; attempting to muster up the courage to speak.
LJ ate some of his meal as he looked into the bowl, also attempting to find a way to bring up his subject.
"There's something I want to-.." they both said in unison as they had looked at each other. They laughed a little and Y/N motions for him to go first.
He hesitated for a split second but he needed to get it out of the way. How else was he supposed to bring it up?
"Well Y/N I have a very important question to ask you...well more like a favor if you think about it." He said as he scratched the back of his neck.
She tilted her head for a brief moment before she spoke.
"What is it?"
She asked him as she turned completely, to look at him better.
LJ placed his bowl onto the coffee table in front of him, before he took a deep breath.
Knowing what he was about to ask of her, he needed some confidence.
"Listen this is going to sound weird...borderline concerning but-..."
He took a second as he admired the young female, her curious expression seeming to get more pronounced.
"I need you to come with me into the woods to speak to Slenderman."
Her eyes widen at his request, her shoulders visibly tensing while her mouth was wide open from shock.
"I know it sounds bad, but trust me you will be fine."
He said as he gave her a confident smile.
