Chapter 31

Narrator

"GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!" Jeff yelled out after he was too late to save the mortal, he knew he needed to tell someone. He especially knew that Laughing Jack needed to be told...he knew deep within that it wasn't going to be pretty.
He rushed out of the office building and he rushed to the park, how would he even go about it? How could he tell Slenderman that a being that they once sealed away is now out and reeking havoc?

The one thing he did know for sure was that CandyPop and Puppeteer had something to do with it. Or at least know something about it.
After sometime he arrived to the park, it was late so thankfully there was no one in sight. He made his was through the forest and as before the full moon illuminated his path.

When he finally arrived at the mansion, everything was silent. As if nothing was wrong, then again he was thrilled that no one hopefully knew anything.
Jeff entered the mansion and he walked upstairs, walking down the extensive hallway towards the bid double doors that led to the boss' office. He stopped for a moment and took a deep breath before he knocked.

"Come in" 
A firm voice said from within the office, which made Jeff tense. He knew that the male was already angry about something.
He opened the door slowly and he peeked his head in for a moment. "Um...Slenderman, do you have a minute?" Jeff asked.

Slender turned around to face him for a moment, he then pointed at the chair by his desk. It was clear that the taller male was already bothered by something, but what?
Jeff hesitantly walked into the male's office and he closed the door behind him, he sat down and he placed his hands together.
"You are just the one I wanted to see." Slender said as he walked over to his chair and sat.

"O-oh? Why is that?" Jeff asked as he rubbed the back of his head seeming nervous, the taller male tilted his head for a moment before he spoke.
"Because, I got reports that someone was spotted in the Stoneburrow CI Division...Anything you want to say about that Jeffery?" Slender asked as he fixed his posture.

Jeff tensed up and he gulped briefly. 'Fuck does he know already?!' he thought to himself before he took a deep breath briefly before he spoke.
"Ah well yes...I was there, because of Y/N...And that is actually why I want to talk to you, boss." Jeff said as he huffed and he shook his head briefly.

"Is that so?" Slender said before he cleared his throat and he intertwined his fingers together. 

Jeff nodded for a moment before he spoke yet again. "Unfortunately so. Y/N got kidnapped at her place of work...by-" Jeff was interrupted by Slender smacking his hands against his desk as he stood up.
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!" he yelled.

"Y/N was taken..." Jeff said as he tensed up yet again, he sighed for a moment knowing that what he had to say was only going to make things worse.
"I had a suspicion that he was near her, I suspected that he was the one who wanted her; but I thought I could have been wrong. Given that you had sealed him away." 
Jeff said as he shrugged briefly.

"No it can't be, I made sure to hide the artifact myself. How could he gotten out?" Slender asked as he tensed up, he seemed confused, enraged and defeated.

"I don't know for sure but I do have my suspicions that CandyPop and Puppeteer had something to do with his freedom..." Jeff stated as he rubbed the back of his neck briefly before he spoke again.
"I will go tell Jack myself...I feel like I owe it to him. I tried but I failed to do as I was told." he stated before he stood up and he walked over to the door.
