"Come on princess. Don't make me kick that cute little ass of yours."

I couldn't help but smile at Nate. He was staring at me with a smile on his face. Waiting to see what my next move would be. Between him, Oakley, Miller, Max, Colt and Randy I don't know which training was worse.

Nate trained me in combat beings he was the best fighter in the gang. Oakley trained me in stealth. His years in the army helped with that. Max trained me with driving. Miller with guns. Randy with my emotions and when to shut them off and to use them. Colt on the gang. Fundamentals, rules blah blah blah.

We've been training a lot the last few months. I trained during the day while the kids were in the day care and preschool we had on the property. I worked my job before they got home and at night.

"You know you don't have to work Winter. We take care of our own."

I looked at Randy and gave him a soft smile. "I know. I like it though."

He nodded his head at me. Not saying anything. He just gave me a soft smile and headed to his cabin on the property. We had been busy as hell lately. We had practically an entire community of houses on the property.

Randy was growing the gang more and more by each week. With numbers there is unity. That's what he always says. There is a day care so the members that have assignments can do them. Without worrying about their kids.

As of right now we have 119 members with around half having kids. Giving us a total of 72 children. So it was always chaotic but it was nice in a way. There is always so much things for the kids to do they literally never get bored.

Maddox hasn't made a move in months. Aside from burning down my old house. Which was pointless. I had been moved out for a week when he did it. I also had insurance so I even got a nice ass chunk of change for it.

He wanted revenge for Kira and Axel. I knew that. I also didn't blame him. It's why the war started in the first place. Because I wanted revenge for Carter and Destiny.

I got Nax a teddy bear and added a video I had of Destiny and Carter saying I love you to Nax. He took the thing everywhere. Same as Kyla does with her bunny.

I looked at Nate and smiled. His own smile plastered on his face as he stared at me. His eyes focused on me on the mat.

"Come on princess. Don't make me beg."

I snorted at him but I didn't say anything. We just continued to train. Punches, kicks, attacks, counterattacks, blocks. We worked on everything for hours until it was time for shooting practice.

"Let's see if you got better."

I rolled my eyes at Miller and he smiled. I was only off a hair last time from dead center. He acts as if I missed every single target. Which I did not. I pulled my gun out and focused.

Focusing on the targets. Actual targets, cans, glasses, scarecrows. I focused and got busy. Pulling the trigger until I needed to reload. I reloaded and went right back to it. Making sure I let my bullets hit every last target once.

"Let's see the damage." Miller said as we got onto the four wheeler. Miler took us down to the field so we could look.

"Look at that. You learn fast." Miller said with a huge smile. Both of us looking at each shattered bottle and each dead on shot.

I did it. Finally.

I couldn't help but smile. Being extremely proud of myself. After training was finished I went inside. Getting four hours of work done before Kyla and Nax ran into the house.
