I couldn't sleep because I was worried about papa. I went up and walked to his room. I opened the door and saw a man. What looked like blood dripped from his lips. He saw me and left the room quickly.

I heard dad talking to someone in the morning. "He had no blood left in his body." said a man. Dad let out a scream. "I'm so sorry." he replied. "Don't tell this to Kitty or Tim, they're too young to understand." said Adam and he nodded his head. I ran into papa's room and it was very quiet. I ran up to his bed and tried to wake him up.
"Please papa, wake up." I said, but he didn't moved. "Don't leave me." I sobbed and tears were rolling down my cheeks. "I love you." I whispered. I ran out from the house and out on the road. I saw a car and everything went black.

"Kitty." said a familiar voice. I opened my eyes and saw dad and Tim. "Dad, Tim." I replied and hugged them. "I thought I had lost you." said Adam. "I'm scared." I replied. "It's over." he said calmly. A doctor came in and looked sadly at us. "We couldn't save him, he was already dead when the ambulance arrived." said the doctor. "My papa is not dead." He's not dead, he is not dead." I shouted and I was shaking.
Dad held me in his arms and rocked me slowly. He sang a lullaby and I fell asleep. This was just a nightmare and we will be together when I wake up. But I realized that my nightmare was true and I would never see papa again.

I put flowers by the gate and a doll went up to me. I picked him up.
"I'm Addy." he said. "I'm Esmeralda, but everyone call me Esme." I replied. "It's a beautiful name." he said. "Thank you." I replied.
