"Oh my God! Thanks God you're safe." As soon as Sarina entered the backdoor of the supermarket, she was greeted by a frantic Nanase who didn't hesitate to walk closer and held onto her shoulder.
"Did that mushroom hurt you?"
"Mushroom?" The black-haired asks with a frown.
"Yes. You know, the guy with mushroom hair who helped you in the train tracks."
As soon as her workmate said that, Sarina immediately snickered after realizing who Nanase might be talking about.
"Oh you're talking about Rin-sama?" The green-eyed even laughed which wrinkled the brunette's foreheads even more. This girl just got weirder for the brunette.
"Yes yes. I can totally see the mushroom." She added and chuckled some more. That's when Nanase slightly slapped her shoulder.
"You little bitch! I got worried about you when he abducted you. If I knew that you would be swooning over him, I never should have." Of course, Sarina would feel off about that comment. What does she mean by swooning?
"Swooning? There's no way. I'm not." Denied Sarina which only raised the other female's eyebrow.
"You better be. He looks dangerous and suspicious. Don't trust him too easily, you idiot. Better yet, avoid him at all costs."
Sarina could only avert her gaze while walking towards her locker to put her apron and uniform on, with her workmate tailing behind her to ask some more questions.
"What happened when I fainted yesterday, Nana-chan?"
Nana took a deep breath before crossing her arms at the side of the lockers.
"Well, he carried you like some sack of rice and told me not to interfere because he had 'business' with you." The writer then just hummed a response. At that point, she was already putting her hair in a bun.
"Hey, woman. Tell me. Did he touch you or something?"
"Want me to report him to the police?" As the concerned lady said that, Sarina got alerted on the bad side. And she remembered her conversation with the man last night before he left their apartment.
"No, you absolutely must not do that." She retorted and held onto her workmate's shoulders.
"He didn't hurt me nor touch me in any way. So you must never report him. Do you hear me?" But instead of believing her, Nanase only frowned and became even more suspicious.
"No. I don't believe you. You're hiding something from me. I just know it." The other female exclaimed again and took her phone. Sarina knew that he have to stop this friend of hers. But before the brunette could dial anyone...
"He wanted my help to court my best friend!" Nana's eyes quickly went back to Sarina who just said that out loud. Well, she's not wrong, right?
