It has been widely known in the underworld about Purgatorio's heiress, Aurelia Schreiber's hand being open for marriage. Given the organization's reputation when it comes to fame and assets, no organization truly seeks to go against them. Instead, they wish to get to their good side. All because of fear and respect. And because they hope to be chosen as the Dame's life partner because it is only then that they can inherit the riches of the House of Schreiber and Purgatorio with her. Which is also the initial aim of Bonten. Who would say no to a beautiful girl with a beautiful body and beautiful riches?
It is already eight o'clock in the morning and everyone is impatient inside the room where they were brought by Nasser Suheil, the top underground organization in Abu Dhabi. Of course, as respect and courtesy, Purgatorio sent a messenger to the city ahead of time to be allowed to walk around. They expected that they would be welcomed accordingly, but their guards were disallowed to enter the city with them. Isn't it common sense that one only gains respect once you have given them? But then, two hours have already passed since theit arrival, yet they are still stuck inside the room where they are being guarded...for reasons they do not know.
"I wonder what the heck is going on." Murmured Lucas upon noticing his Dame with a quiet and serious expression while tapping her fingers. As the most loyal man of Aurelia, the crimson-eyed man took it as his responsibility to make sure she stays safe and alive. And unbored.
Out of irritation, he was quick to stomp towards the two huge Arabs wearing a loosened gray robe or what they call kandourah and ghutra, a headscarf worn by men, holding assault rifles standing by the entrance whom he found nasty ever since they arrived.
"Hey. What is going on? Why are we brought here? Answer before I kill the two of you." The black-haired Purgatorio man, Lucas, asked with an angered expression. He even had to make sure he's understood so spoke in English.
"Didn't we tell you to wait? Sit down before I send your head flying."
Perhaps, the guards also hated being talked down by a foreigner so he mocked Lucas back. Yes, they convene well in the international language. What he answered seemed to have aggravated the rest of the men in Purgatorio since all of them stood from their seats and returned the gazes of the two Arabic guards. One comrade of Lucas refused to go alone though. To balance the Math.
"Not unless I bust your brains, first." Desmond, Purgatorio's most hot-tempered man said as he stood behind Lucas, adding fuel to fire. And so, they all continued to exchange words.
Bonten found it unusual for Aria's aids to act due to impulses and without order. All of them has always found the Purgatorio men calm, reserved, and ready to spill blood for their respected Dame anytime. But not like this. Of course, there was no way the Japanese would abandon their allies despite them from different races. And so, they were also quick to stand—particularly Mochi and Kakucho who are ready to bring more numbers to the table.
But before they could even step in, Mikey was quick to give them a look that told them to never interfere. Since the two were both compliant, they stopped. On cue, they turned to Aurelia, waiting for her orders to calm the tension. However, her expressions told them that she had no plans to. Which is also strange from her.
