"Can I talk to you?"
A pair of purple eyes shook in slight hesitation as he tried to be polite while being looked at by a mature male who has just come out of the bathroom.
"Of course. Please sit down, Rindou-kun." The man offers and the two of them walked towards the bed. The patient, given that he is still recovering, was slow to get to his bed while the young male just waited for him to settle.
"Well? To what do I owe the pleasure of seeing such a handsome man visit?" Smiled the patient. Rindou got silent. He just clasped his hands together and thought hard whether to continue or not. He is confused and he simply wanted to talk to someone sensible. But he didn't expect that his feet would bring him to this person, to a certain woman's father. The same woman that has been one of the causes why he's being disoriented.
"It's okay. Take your time. I am a patient patient who can wait." The young male doesn't know whether to react with the man's joke or not. Truth be told, he couldn't believe that there would come a day that he would have a normal conversation with a normal person with a normal life. Perhaps, it wasn't only the daughter that marked herself in his life, but also her father.
"It's about Fo—I mean your daughter."
"Hmm? Why? Has Sarina done something wrong?"
"No. It was the other way around. It was I who did something to her."
Before he could realize what he just said, he hears something crack.
"I see. Brave of you to show up in my face, boy. Is it death you seek?" With a scary smile, the patient is fisting his palms which seems to be magnetized to the young male's face. Of course, he could knock this man down in a blink of an eye and stop his heart in a matter of seconds. But that's something that never came to his mind.
"Uh...it's not what you think." When he said that, the man slightly calmed down, waiting his words.
"I mean...not to that extent...yet." The purple-haired had to whisper his last word. Thankfully, the patient didn't hear it. Seeing this, the young male sighed, wondering if this man is as intense towards his brother.
"Anyway, it wasn't like that." He added. This time, the brown-haired decided to lend an ear. The young male proceeded.
"I...did something to your daughter which I didn't expect I would do. I believe that it is all because I feel annoyed whenever I see her with my brother." Saburo gaped.
"I don't know if you know this, but Brother is a playboy. He shouldn't be trusted easily."
"But your stup—I mean your daughter doesn't realize it. She just goes ahead and befriends him. Seeing her like that annoys me."
Maybe, the young male didn't realize how childish he sounded just now. But the patient who found that unexpected...ends up laughing. This irked the male because he didn't come all this way to get laughed at. More so by a man he chose to talk to for this matter.
"You're funny, Rindou-kun. Do you hate your brother?"
"I don't." When the purple-haired said that honestly, the patient laughed louder.
