Chapter 104: Three Lives

No more flashbacks. Truth is out. What is the aftermath?

A huge silence.

That filled the entirety of the living room of Himitsu Suzuki as Lucas concluded his narration of Sarina Samidori's pretense. He told everyone everything that happened that past few months that she was in Germany.

"Just a confirmation..." Koko decides to break the ice. "Was the base of the fourth Zodiac quadrant here in Japan?"

"Yes. If you had waited for us to return when we interrogated the third quadrant back in Abu Dhabi, you would have found out they nested in your nest." Lucas replied, soliciting annoyed deep breaths from Bonten.

"That means..." Kakucho interrupts. "...the enemies were waiting to strike when Purgatorio and Bonten try to kill each other."

"The motherfucker called 'Zorn'. My guts are telling me that he was the one playing all of us behind the scenes. That piece of shit. All of them are fucking pieces of shit." Sanzu whispers angrily and ready to kick whatever his foot would land on. But he turned to Kakucho instead. "This is all your fault, stupid Kakucho! If you didn't easily believe that fucking cobra Julius, we wouldn't be in this mess!"

"You think I wanted all of these to happen?! Fucking no!"

"Enough. It's not Kakucho's fault, Sanzu. We were all played by Julius." Takeomi tries to mediate but the pink-haired just crossed his arms in irritation.

"No. It's his fault for being so fucking stupid and so fucking gullible!" To what Sanzu just said with his teeth gritting, the Third balled his fists and stood from his seat.

"Don't spout bullshit on me as if you were never fooled before!" The two continued bickering whilst the others just tried to ignore them. Koko proceeds to ask another question.

"Purview and Trois, is it true that Purgatorio bombed them?" Everyone watched Lucas and Gisela wrinkle their foreheads.

"They were bombed?" And how the Japanese group understood what is happening. They all let out frustrated sighs and pressed their eyes shut. They all cannot believe that they let such a baseless news fool them. 

"Centro." 

Everyone turned in Mikey's direction who was seated silently at the stairs. "It was Centro that bombed Purview and Trois to make their followers direct their anger on Purgatorio. And it was Zodiac that attacked our businesses here in Japan while we were distracted." His obsidian eyes looked sternly at his members. "Everything was a setup for the groups that allied themselves to prey on Aurelia Schreiber...aka Sarina Samidori." 

Ran clenched his jaw in frustration with the thought that even he has got something to do with everything.

"That long-haired son of a bitch you brought with you. Who is he?" Mikey asks Lucas who is as serious as everybody else. His question also aroused rage in Lucas.

"Zorn Wolfe. He is the Dame's first cousin, son of eldest sister of Lord Atlas." That awakened Rindou who quickly turned to Lucas.

"Elder sister of Four-eyes' father?" He asks and remembers what Asami told him about the people who ordered Sarina's abduction.
