The battle of Bonten against Paradiso, is finally over. A new arc will begin. A new character will be coming.

TRIGGER WARNING: Asami.

"By the way, you still haven't told me how your trip went with the brothers." And just as expected, her best friend froze and even looked to her.

It took Sarina seconds before she fidgeted on her eyeglasses, a habit she has when she's flustered or nervous or both.

"A-About that, Ami-chan...I..." Asami flashed a small smile, while waiting.

"I'm sorry I...I didn't tell you ahead of time. It was actually..." She even sees the other scratch her nape for a bit while avoiding her judgmental gaze.

"It was actually a spontaneous invitation from Ran-ku—"

"Invitation?" The blue-eyed cut in. Sarina nodded with her heart filled with guilt.

"Y-Yes. One of their co-workers got married in Maldives an—"

"Were you the only girl there?" The other cut in again. This time, Sarina shook her head.

"No. There were others." Asami didn't utter a reply. At first.

"Did Rin-kun...meet anyone there? Was there a woman there that...seduced my Rin-kun?" Sarina doesn't know whether she made the right expression at that moment. But she fought the urge to gulp a lump in her throat. She shook her head nervously. But this somehow brought back the blondie's smile.

"That's great to know, Sari-chan. I thought he didn't invite me to go because he is in love with someone else."

What did she say? Rin-chan didn't invite her?

"As long as you are there to see what he's doing, I'm good. You need to tell me if there's any snake going around him, okay?"

"I'm not going to forgive anyone who tries to take him away from me." The black-haired couldn't even deny that at that moment, Asami was trying to threaten her. Her pair of greens shook silently.

"But you don't have to worry, Sari-chan." Again, the blue-eyed is back to her old self. "Even if you try to seduce my man, he won't even bat an eyelid. That's how in love he is with me. I know because he proves it to me whenever we're making love."

Again, the black-haired tried to conceal and control her emotions. To her face, Asami just tried to warn her to take her eyes off her man. Perhaps, the blue-eyed has been noticing something strange between her best friend and her boyfriend. And she doesn't want it to develop into something deeper. But how is Sarina going to tell her best friend that it already is? That something has already changed between her and Rindou?

What Asami said last though marked itself in her mind. The same case as when the man said these to her with such a soft and sincere expression.

"Being around you makes me crazy. But without you around me...I would go crazier."

"I never belonged to Asami. And I don't have any plans to belong to anyone except...What I'm saying is...is...somebody already owned my heart before I realized it."

Now, she doesn't know who to believe. Does she believe in Rindou or in own her best friend.

"You don't have to worry, Ami-chan." To the blue-eyed's surprise, she once again sees the usual kind and sweet smile of her green-eyed best friend.
