The day before the wedding of the century...
The sound of someone groaning resounded in a familiar cabin where a certain black-haired is slowly feeling her consciousness get ahead of her. But she didn't expect to perceive the familiar scent of her favorite. And so, fluttering her eyes open, she took her seat and saw a figure seated at the sofa parallel to her bed. She tried to reach for her glasses on the bedside table, but to her surprise, there was none. And it seems like her spare is also somewhere.
"You broke your eyeglasses last night, remember?" At that point, she didn't have to ask who it is because she knew as soon as she recognized the voice. She got reminded of what transpired last night. And the memories came with a surging headache.
"Your head must hurt. Eat up and drink some medicine. We're going somewhere." She looked up as if to see who's in front of her. Before she could say anything, a small table was put by the man and over it is her breakfast, boiled egg, fried rice with lots of vegetables and pork, tempura, and a familiar tea.
Smiling, the first she reached for is the cup of tea which she inhaled first before taking a sip. And just like that, her headache and hangover are ready to leave her system. Nothing could really beat her favorite—Matcha.
"You must love that tea so much. Good thing my intuitions were right." She grinned to the man before taking a bite of the rice with vegetables. And even that taste so heavenly.
"Someone doesn't have his weekly period." She finally decided to kid around, making the man scoff.
"Would it hurt to say that everything tastes good?" She smiled wider and continued eating.
"Everything tastes great. Thank you, Rin-sama."
It was a good thing that Sarina lost her eyeglasses this morning. Because if she didn't, she would be able to see the pink patches that grew on the man's serious façade.
"Isn't this what you're working on yesterday at the hills? What's it for?" She assumed that maybe the man also saw her painting at the small living area of her room.
"Yes. But it isn't yet finished. Miss Hana gave me an assignment to make a painting that is 'Alive'. But I think something is still missing so I'm stuck." She says while eating.
"Alive? What's alive in this painting?" She sighed.
"That's the thing. Nothing yet." The man turned to her direction while silently remembering when his older brother sought her father's permission. So, this is what they meant by her assignment. He silently assumed that maybe, she went to the hills to get some inspiration for her task. What dedication she has for art.
"You've been too engrossed with painting lately. What about your book?" What the man brought up froze the writer. "The last chapter I read was chapter three. Any progress from the MC who is as cool as me?" The writer tried to fidget on her eyeglasses...but touched none. A habit that the man found cute before, but funny now.
"S-So you read my book, Rin-sama?"
"Of course. Didn't I tell you that I will monitor that story?" The writer tried not to sweat profusely. But that didn't go unnoticed by the man...who frowned. "What? You're not going to tell me that you're going to stop writing now that you found a new hobby?"
"What? No. Of course, not. Writing is my ultimate passion. I will never stop doing it." She replied, which made the man grin. But she of course would never know that.
