The sound of the fire burning, sirens, and the faint sound of people chattering filled the senses of a certain black-haired who is observing a particular scene from a distance. The house in the subdivision that used to house and help her just a few days ago is now charred and ruined after an apparent attack of a "syndicate" as people call it. Casualties were found by the police department which included Sato Suzuki, Daisuke Miko, Anika Kimura, a few maids, and Gisela Engel. Their corpses are discovered and being investigated. So as much as Sarina wanted to storm the place after arriving in Tokyo from Tohoku, she and the others couldn't. They must be careful now. Who knows if Zorn Wolfe's men are lurking in the dark, waiting to strike? Hence, they are in a discreet building owned by Bonten with nothing to do, but bite their own tongues in frustration.

"Sarina..." She turned to Lucas. "Sanzu Haruchiyo said they couldn't, as of the moment, do anything to bring Gisela and the others out of the hospital. They are heavily guarded by the police."

"And Asami Kimura and Himitsu-sensei? Where are they?"

"We can't find them. None of the security cameras can find them. Kokonoi thinks they flew to Berlin. But we still need to be careful so we can't leave this place yet." Sarina turned back to the windows where she has been resting her eyes for a whole hour now upon their arrival, just looking at the house which now looks so far.

"This is all my fault. I should have just brought her with us. She wanted to stay with me. I shouldn't have left her alone. If I did...maybe...she would still be alive."

"Stop blaming yourself. You just did it because it was what you thought was the right thing to do. Zorn took that chance to eliminate her and the others while we were away."

"No...all this is my fault."  With his words of assurance, she still couldn't stop. "Why do I keep making the wrong decisions, Lucas? Why am I always one step behind Zorn? How does he always win against me? Here I thought we got a step ahead of him because he believed that I'm already dead! Julius was finally back on our side! We weren't alone. We have Bonten and Nasser Suheil. Zodiac is gone! Gemini is dead! We avenged everyone! So why...?"

At that point, she was so helpless. Her emotions were all over the place. She could very much hear her own breathing getting short and slow. She started quivering. Just remembering how Gisela died fills her heart with various emotions—anger, pain, and frustration. She very much wants to avenge her. But the question is how? That alone is too stressful for her.

"Sshh...take a deep breath. Stop thinking about it and rest your mind. Crying over it now will only keep hurting you." Lucas tells her calmly after pulling her into another warm embrace. She couldn't believe it. He really is all she has now from the friends she made. Can she utter to lose him, too? She might lose her mind.

"I know it will be hard. But you have to let her go. We have to let Gisela go now." Added the man before she rested her head on her chest and wrapped her hands around his waist.

"Why do I have to keep losing people, Lucas? It hurts..." She asks helplessly and lets her tears drench his shirt. He started rubbing her back and rested his chin over her head.
