"What the fuck happened?!"

Aurelia's team all turned to her as soon as she came barging at the hospital where Abel was confined and was confirmed to recover. Which makes all of them wonder why...the news about her sudden passing sobered their fun night. Most especially the Dame's who was with Ran Haitani just a few minutes ago.

"Weren't we told that Abel's injury isn't critical? Why the hell is she suddenly dead?! Did you deploy guards here? Why was she brought to this useless hospital if all they're good at is let their patient die?!" The black-haired asked with a huge frown and balled fists. She exchanged glances with her members, clearly angry and disappointed.

As a sign of respect, they all bowed their heads first before heeding to her query. Lucas was the one who delivered the details of the devastating news.

"Abel was poisoned, Dame." And that frowned the woman's forehead even more.

"Poisoned? Why am I only hearing this now?" Still, all chose not to meet their Dame's eye.

"Apparently, the knife that the Paradiso bitch used was laced with obscure toxin. Something that slowly kills a victim without being detected until it does its job." They all witnessed the way Aria balled her fists even harder as she bit her lip in anger.

"That Codicia bitch..." She cursed and trembled in fury. "She purposely missed Abel's vital organ to gradually kill her."

It was then that she suddenly batted Ran her deadly green eyes.

"You guys shouldn't have let them get away, Ran Haitani. You shouldn't have let them live. Look at what they have done. How shameful."

The purple-haired chose to keep quiet as he stared at the woman's angry expression...while thinking how surprised and humbled he felt being looked down. But did he let his ego win and retaliated? No. Because he knows that Bonten has their fair share of mishaps and wrong turns. Including their decision that led to the death of Yukino Miyazaki.

"I apologize on behalf of Bonten, Miss Schreiber." Replied the man with a bow, as if to pay his respect to the woman...who gained his respect a long time ago.

"We admit that we made a mistake of letting the pillars roam around freely. Please know that we will try to never make such a mistake again."

The woman's aloof and serious expression never left her face. And the executive felt it. She is glaring down at him as he swallowed his pride.

"Raise your head." With that, he stood with respect. She walked closer to him until she is looking into his eyes. And with all her intimidating presence and voice...

"I never want to see the pathetic side of Bonten again. If you want to keep your alliance with us, never disappoint me."

"Understood." She turned her back.

"Tell everyone in Bonten that we're flying tonight to Germany. Make haste. I don't like waiting."

With that, she walked away whilst her subordinates followed behind her. Meanwhile, Ran went back to the hotel to deliver the news.
