Her hands started shaking. Her eyes started getting blurry even with her eyeglasses on. Her breathing is stuttering. Her heartbeat is getting stronger by the minute. Her mind is getting clouded. Her insides are burning with various emotions all at once—pain, anger, disgust...for herself.

Her sole family. Her everything.

Her father...was killed by Rindou Haitani. And she...




I slept with my father's murderer.




"...midori. Miss Samidori!" She woke from her trance upon hearing Miss Hana calling out to her and even patting her shoulders.

"What's wrong? Why are you crying?" She slowly looked up to her.



Crying? She slowly reached for her face and it is indeed drenched. From her tears. Tears of anger and disgust.



"Miss Samidori, would you like to be excused for the day?" She once again looked up to the woman and nodded. Without waiting for a response, she ran outside the room. Right now, all she wants is answers. The truth. The whole truth.



She marched to the elevator but before she got there, she got stopped by someone.



"Hey..." She looks up and sees a woman she hasn't seen for so long.  A brown-haired woman with brown eyes in her usual formal attires. "What's wrong? Why the tears?" 


Instead of answering, she just took her arm away.

"I seriously have no time for this, Himitsu-sensei." She answers straightly and is about to leave but she gets stopped again in the arms. 


"Don't be in such a hurry. I just want to ask you something. Is it true that you're the daughter of Sab--" 

But perhaps, her mind is too clouded. And her emotions are heightened negatively to let the mature woman finish her question.


"Some other time, sensei. I really need to g—"

"But this is important. Just answer me pl—"

"And I just said that I have no time for this, right?! Weren't you listening?" 

She raised her voice and pulled her arm away. Then, she went straight to the elevator. Right now, she just want to see one person and get the answer that she needs.
