"We are like books.
Most people only see our covers. The minority read only the introduction.
Many people believe the critics. Few will know our content."
- Emile Zola
A certain purple-haired is now walking towards the entrance of Namida Memorial Research Institute where a certain patient that he knows is currently resting. It was around 2 o'clock in the afternoon and he decided to pay Saburo Samidori a visit as well as his weird daughter. He overslept since he had too much fun last night torturing a certain asshole. He vented out his frustrations on the poor man that he had plenty of sound sleep.
His girlfriend called him multiple times and even flooded him with messages, but he could care less. He just wants some space. Which actually was a good decision he made.
With a basket of fruits on his left hand and cup of coffee on the other, he is now walking towards the patient's room with his usual sophisticated aura, making a few doctors, nurses, patients alike turn to his direction. What's ever new?
Room 413
Samidori, Saburo
"Who is it?" After four consecutive knocks, he hears the voice of someone inside the room.
"It's me. Open up." It is then that a surprised black-haired woman opened the door for him.
"Oh, hi. This is a surprise. Pops, another handsome guy just popped in." The usual Sarina called out to his father while she welcomes the visitor inside.
"Hello, Sir." Greeted the man to the patient who is seated at the bed, who then gave him a huge smile.
"Wow, seeing such handsome people visit me after the other is suddenly making me less scared of the operation." Laughed the brown-haired man while looking at the basket on his side table.
Despite not having a good start, Rindou of course has already been familiar with the patient. He doesn't desire to stir trouble when he has already made a bit of a negative impression.
"How did you know we're here, Rin-sama?" He turns to a pair of green eyes looking up to him with a hint of glee. Seeing her this way makes him believe that perhaps, she wasn't that much affected with being fooled by an asshole named Mio Namiya. She is still the same old Four-eyes he knows so well. Stupidly cheerful.
But how will he answer her question? He got flustered for a bit.
"Your neighbors told me that your father collapsed yesterday." He obviously lied. There is absolutely no way that he will tell her that he found out from his assistant about everything.
"I see. Well, thanks for coming to visit, Rin-sama. We really appreciate you and everyone from the apartment, too. Everyone's a big help." She flashed a shy smile to the man who remained quiet. To be honest, what she said impacted him quite differently. How could she thank him when he didn't do a thing in the first place?
