27 - K-I-S-S-I-N-G

We were at Lisa's house, and it wasn't time to trick or treat yet and the kids were getting antsy to go. Lisa, Carly and Shanna were in the kitchen getting dinner ready. We had offered to pay and order pizza but Lisa had a whole Halloween menu planned.

"Uncle Chris, can't we just go?!" Miles whined.

"Buddy, it hasn't even started yet. It's fine." Chris said and Miles sighed.

"I don't wike it." Miles mumbled and walked away. I looked at Chris and he shook his head.

"Don't..." Chris said since he knew I was going to make fun of the word "wike" since he said it all the time as a kid and still sometimes does to this day.

"It's cute and I love when you say it." I said and he smiled. He went to lean in to kiss me, but I subtly backed away and stood up.

"Okay you guys are bored right?" I asked all the kids as they sat around the living room.

"Yes!" They all replied, and I smiled.

"Okay Ethan, go in the summer box that's in the closet and get the empty bubble containers, the small ones. Stella, go get me the liquid hand soap from the bathroom and Miles go get me a glass of water from your mom." I said sending them all on a mission.

"What is this MacGyver?" Scott asked and I stuck my tongue out at him. Everyone brought me everything I needed. I knelt down to sit on the floor by the coffee table setting everything up.

"Okay so I'm making you guys some homemade bubbles. You can go outside and blow them once they are made." I said and they got excited. I filled the containers with the mixture I would need.

"Okay so..." I picked up on of the bottles. "What you need to do is you have to shake it, then pull it out and blow." I explained as I demonstrated. Chris choked on the swig of beer he had just taken, Scott and Carly's husband Ryan started laughing hysterically. I glared at all of them as the kids shook their bubbles. Once they were done, they ran outside. I shook my head.

"You, you and you...all of you in time out. You are all bad, have dirty minds and are misbehaving." I said and placed my hands on my hips.

"You're not serious..." Scott said, and I glared at him. "Shit..." Scott said. He went to a corner and stood there, and Ryan went to an opposite corner. I looked at Chris and he walked up to me. He leaned down to my ear.

"If you leave me out of time out you can take whatever lead you want tonight in the bedroom..." Chris trailed off and I closed my eyes trying not to moan. We both knew the making out was nice and we were having a good time but I had been talking to therapist and Chris even about how I was ready to move forward. He was still wary not wanting to push but he just proved to me he was now ready. Ball was in my court.

"Okay no time out for you, but I get whatever I want." I whispered back and he nodded. He went back and sat on the couch. He was looking so cocky and smug. Scott and Ryan looked confused.

A few minutes later Lisa, Carly and Shanna came walking in.

"Dinner is re -...What the hell is going on?!" Lisa asked announcing dinner then saw the guys in time out.

"Pick me I know!" Scott said before anything else can be said. I rolled my eyes and sat down next to Chris.

"What happened?" Carly asked.

"Well see Ronnie was making the kids bubbles and she said something that could have been taken very dirty, well we actually did take it dirty. Ryan and I laughed, and Chris choked on his beer. But what I don't think is fair is Chris whispered something to Ronnie and didn't have to go into time out." Scott explained. I just shook my head slightly as Chris looked at Lisa.

"Is that true?" Lisa asked and Chris just smirked at her, and she looked between the two of us and I just shrugged. Chris then looked at Scott as Lisa looked away, he smirked and winked at Scott who then tried to say something but saw Lisa didn't notice. When Lisa looked back Chris went back to normal.

"Okay well everyone is out of time out, someone get the kids because dinner is ready." Lisa said I got up from the couch and Scott walked over to me as Ryan went to get the kids.

"What did he whisper to you?" Scott asked. I just smiled and walked away.

Scott, Chris and I got picked to take the kids out trick or treating for the night after dinner. We were switching on and off about who would go to the door with the kids. Stella was nervous to go up to the door even with her brothers.

We were about halfway through, and it was Scotts turn to start walking the kids to the door.

"You know, you wearing that outfit is dangerous..." Chris said, and I looked at him.

"It's normal clothing Chris." I said.

"Right but the low-cut t-shirt, the tight jeans, the jeans that I love you in might I add..." Chris trailed off and I felt his hand slip in the back pocket of my jeans, and I smiled.

"Chris Evans, the ass man." I said and he smirked at me as I looked at him. He gave my ass a little squeeze while his hand was in the pocket.

"Damn right." He said. The kids and Scott came walking back so he removed his hand. As we walked to the next house Chris was trying to hold my hand and I was having to smack him away since everyone we with were didn't know.

We got to the next house and as Scott walked away with the kids Chris took me behind a huge tree and gently pinned me against the tree.

"Can I help you?" I giggled.

"I need to kiss you." Chris said and I smiled as he leaned in and passionately kissed me. I moaned in the kiss and gripped his lapels on his jacket as Chris's hands were on my waist. His body was flush against mine and I could feel just how much he actually needed me. We were lost in the moment and the whole world around us just disappeared.

"Uh...excuse me?! What the hell?!" Scott yelled and we broke apart quickly.

"Um...surprise." I said and Chris chuckled.

"Since when?!" Scott asked.

"Awhile." Chris said and Scott smiled.

"Thank god." Scott said. We started walking to the next house as Chris held my hand the entire way and Scott started singing.

"Chris and Ronnie sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G..."

"Technically we were leaning on a tree, not sitting in it." I corrected him and we all laughed. Stella walked between Chris and I and took both of our hands.

"I'm happy for Auntie Ronnie and Uncle Chris, it's about time." Stella said and we all laughed and shook our heads.

Once we were done trick or treating, we headed back into Lisa's house. Scott quickly looked at everyone sitting in the living room.

"Do you guys know Chris and Ronnie are together?!" Scott asked.

"Scott! We could have told them!" I said and he shook his head.

"I'm sorry you're what?!" Carly asked and Chris pulled me to his side gently and kissed my cheek.

"We're together. Have been for a while. We just wanted to keep it to ourselves for a while." Chris said and I nodded. Everyone hugged us so excitedly as Lisa stayed sitting.

"Did you know?" Shanna asked and Lisa nodded.

"I found out earlier today." Lisa said and I smiled.

We went about our night just hanging out and having a good time. I was sitting cuddled with Chris in a chair when he sighed, and I looked back at him.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, you ready to go home?" Chris asked and I nodded.

"I still get to have control, right?" I asked and he nodded with a low growl as I gave him a small kiss. "Let's get home Evans." I said once we broke apart.
