**A FEW MONTHS LATER**
Chris and I were sitting in a hotel in LA and we were getting ready to go to his film premiere of Knives Out. It was finally time and he was so excited about this film as I was to see it. This was the film he had just gotten done filming when everything started again with Chris and I. Before he knew my real job, before dating, before the attack...before everything.
Our lives had changed so much since he finished filming this movie and now it was time to see his hard work pay off. I finished getting dressed as Megan walked back in the room. Chris walked up to me as I finished and handed me his tie and I laughed.
"You still want me to tie this?" I asked.
"Whenever you tie my tie it's a good night." Chris said and I laughed. I took the tie from him and placed it around his neck. I saw Megan taking some cute photos of us while I did this but I didn't care, they would be memories we wanted.
Once I finished tying his tie he grabbed my hands and held them. I smiled at him.
"I love you so much you know that right?" Chris asked and I smiled slightly shaking my head.
"Of course, I do Chris." I said.
"Remember when we had the Christopher's Haven event and I told you I wanted to introduce the entire world to you?" Chris asked and I nodded.
"I do..." I said.
"Well I don't think I want to introduce you as my girlfriend anymore..." Chris trailed off and I felt my heart stop and fall into the pit of my stomach.
"Oh...um...okay..." I didn't know how else to react. I tried to pull away from his hands and he would let me move.
"Veronica, I don't want introduce you as my girlfriend anymore because I think fiancé is a better title." Chris said as he pulled a ring box from his pocket and opened it up. I looked at the ring in shock then up at Chris.

"Are you serious?" I asked in complete shock and I saw the panic on Chris's face. I smiled as I stood on my tip toes and reached up passionately kissing Chris. "Yes." I whispered as our lips barely parted. He smiled at me and slid the ring on my finger.
