I Have A World Famous Mom

I got up at six. I had to drive back to the city. My mom was heading to Cincinnati with her man to be by her man's side. Scott was at work and said, "Your mom is nationwide." "Sorry ladies. Johnny Depp is not single.... Word has it he has been seeing this lady for some time. According to a source, she is an old friend. Word is out he has a daughter with her who resembles a curvy Lily Rose." It was over. "You could hear the heartbreak Around the world.... We are intrigued with the young lady who is seen walking with her mother, though thicker and curvier, she resembles Johnny. What is going on?" Shit, now it was including me! Sadie texted me, "you are even a hotter commodity now." I was hurt by that comment.

The world was going to know.  I felt like Sadie was more interested in me because of WHO I was and not because she was in love with me.   "The thick part, I don't like,". I texted back.  "Come on, you're gorgeous!"  

I walked out into the main room.   Clothes were strewn all over the floor.  Shoes by the door, jeans by my door, both mom's and Johnny's shirts by the bed, a bra on the desk, panties on the floor.   I looked out on the bed.   Mom is fast asleep on Johnny's chest.   They didn't stir.   They were both I go back in my room and texted Scott.  "I am sorry we will probably have to have security at our house," I texted to him.  "One more thing for Lauren to hate you for," he texted back.  "Lauren hates me?" I texted back.  "Jealous.  Just jealous," he texted back.   I wanted to text back, "AND YOU ARE MARRYING HER!  DON'T YOU KNOW I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU, YOU FUCKING IDIOT????!!!!!"  When I was home, all he did was complain to me.   Then there was part of me who said to myself, "Well, you aren't doing anything you dumb fuck!   You stay with someone you really don't love either." 

They got up.  I heard Johnny putting on his jeans and mom in the bathroom putting on her makeup.  Johnny knocks on the door, "Want some breakfast before you hit the road?"  I told him, "Sure."   He asked if I was okay and I said, "Well, for being photographed and my thickness mentioned."  He said, "Remember,  you are beautiful first."  Then he said, "Your mama?  What did they say about her?"  I told him, "Nothing, but they have a good picture of you kissing her last night."  Johnny said, "I was afraid of this.   You just are going to have to be really careful from now on."  I told him, "They say I look like a fuller figured Lily Rose."   He smiled and said, "You sort of do." 

Breakfast was good and mom was sort of embarrassed.   That kiss though, you knew she was Johnny's.  

"I am trusting you with my Cadillac," she told me.  "Plus, our life isn't going to be the same now."
"I know, mom."
"I am so nervous.  Fans are nice to you as you aren't the girlfriend, but I have been called 'fat', 'ugly', 'gross'.   They have had fun with me saying, 'Now that Johnny is older he's settling for anyone'."  She sounds sad.  "I just feel so violated.   I am being called a 'bitch' by women I have never met, and when we were shopping in Nashville, someone took our picture.   I just want a life with johnny not this, but I love him enough to go through it and he loves me as well..".

Johnny and mom told me to be safe and I made the drive back home.   I made  it in good time.  I stopped by the house.  Lauren was there.   I told Scott, "Hello".  I told her "hello" and she just looked at me.   I hate when she does that to me.   Scott looked at her.   "I am just grabbing a few things and staying at my mom's.   She went with Johnny and I am watching her house."  I texted Hannah and she and I were going to "do dinner".  I guess Dad is pissed, calling my mom a "cum dumpster".  "You'd think it was 2014, but everything I read in the diary I see why she wished 2007 was going to happen and why she just lost interest in the marriage.  Surprisingly, so did Hannah. I took her to supper. She said, "I wish I had someone famous as Johnny for a dad." I said, "You know mom loves and treasures you." She said, "Yes, but she has something special with you." I felt so bad for Hannah. Lily Rose didn't know how to take me either. She was the first of her famous parents.

I settled into bed and Christmas 2007. Mom now had a crush on a police officer. "He's overweight and not as handsome but he is so, so sweet. I could see raising kids with him. He's small town apple pie America and I could see myself and raising my girls with that." I have had enough of the suburban criminal, but there would be someone who would rock her world, a very married lawyer who mom would continue with for eight years, but the end of 2007 was tumultuous and mom was almost free. However, she goes back to him, non questions asked, I think mom was afraid to leave him because she knew there was no one out there for you. "Jeff Raypole is like stink on shit. He is always asking me for nudes or if we could go to the Travel Oasis on the highway, I want to tell him to fuck off.   I would never consider an affair with him."  However, Everett Lloyd Burlieson was going to change that.   At the time, mom was at the downtown store as well.   She vacillated from both to the mall to just downtown....  Now since the store closed because of COVID and a newer, modern downtown, mom was just at the mall.   However, mom went mad first. 

However, they had a fight that I very much remember.   I was twelve, almost thirteen and I wanted mom to make the chocolate cake with pink icing for new year's eve.   I was babysitting as dad and she had a date.   We made the cake, but it turned into a fiasco, because I guess the eggs in the fridge were Rob's.   They had just had a work Christmas party and mom was home for the evening as she was still waiting tables for us to get by.  We made the cake, and then all hell broke loose.   "I was making the cake to be nice to the girls, as Jade got her first period and that is scary for a girl and Hannah just has the fact that he's her dad.  I so want to tell Jade that her dad is Captain Jack, but how do you?  She at least started at home and knew what it was but she said it hurt so much and she was crying.   At least it wasn't at school and she was babysitting Hannah.   Poor girl.  Always babysitting Hannah.   Well, I didn't go to Rob's work party and he stumbles in and then goes off on me about the eggs, and he kept repeating they were his eggs and I should have just know that.  He repeated it ten times and even called my dad and said I was overreacting.   He tries to make me look crazy.  My dad tried to explain.   Rob is so far gone."  

I remember that night he screamed at her, pushed her, and yelled at her.   She landed against the stove.   I gave the cake to him and said, "Take it.   It has the eggs you need in it. He threw it against the wall."  That greasy stain was there until we moved.   That was the beginning of me hating Rob.  I hated Rob and I think that was why I moved out at twenty.   Especially after what he did to my mom, but my mom was by no means innocent.   Mom deserved it all after what she put up with.
