The Phone Call That Told All

The trial had been over since June and it was late July. I was in Europe but I got a call from Ben Chew to call him at my earliest convenience.   I was wondering if something was wrong with the trial.  I wasn't expecting what I was going to get.   As far as I knew, I never fathered any children, but women "claimed" that, but I was pretty sure I had not.One November day, a really tearful female called and asked to speak with me.   I was missing Amy, depressed beyond belief and I heard the despair in her voice and I just shut her out.   I wondered if it was her?

I called his office and Ben said, "I have a lawyer friend.  He was my mentor in school, and he was always straight with me."
"Sure.   What's going on?"
"He has a worker in his office, his lead front desk who looks a lot like Lily Rose but add a few pounds."
"Yes?"
"She took a DNA test and she has a Depp she is 24 percent she is related to.  She messaged said person and they are first cousins.  I am looking at some pictures of her forwarded to me and she looks like Lily Rose and has your eyes and the mother is very attractive.   I have contact information for the office and the mother works at Dillard's and her cel phone number is attached.  I can send if you like."
"Yeah.   Sure.  I get this stuff all of the time."
"Paul Portnoy is one of my best friends.  Let me send the pictures."
"Sure."

I was not prepared for what was sent to me.  There she was, with my eyes, cheekbones, and smile wearing a business suit.  "Jade Thompson, Receptionist and Adminstrative";.  I touched the screen.   Then there was another picture, her and some guy, her best friend.   Then there was her mom.   She had gained some weight, but she was just as beautiful and that teal one piece was flattering on her.  I looked at her crotch.   I wondered what it was like now.   Did she have other children?  Then there was a picture of her in her Dillard's uniform.   She was beautiful.   She had really short hair, but I guess from time to time she wore wigs because she had a long platinum blonde one as she sat in a front seat of a corvette.   I had to meet her.  HAD TO!!!

For a week I tried to call the firm.  However, I hung up before it rang, and one day I was tired and it rang in and all I heard was "Jade Thompson."   Before I knew it, I was talking to her and she was coming out to meet me.   She reminded me a lot of me and Lily Rose.   I thought he would have boys liked up, but she had a girlfriend.   When she came out to visit she reminded me a lot of Amy as well, except she wasn't shy.  I took her to meet Lily Rose and in a way I was relieved she and Lily Rose did not live in the same town.   Jade loved to drink bourbon and smoke cigars with her roommate.  She was in love with her roommate.  I could tell.   I wanted her, even though it was a short time I knew her, to dump that loser girl with the dirty house, pets, and no goals.   I saw some of Jade's work, and the flowers she painted on a dresser and sold for $500, and I was going to ask her to do that to something for me.   We called Amy and she bawled on the phone.  I did tell her I would call her privately when she left.

When she left, I called her.  She cried for a bit.   She told me how she was pregnant, how she had to give birth with her parents, and parented all alone.   She had no epidural and she said it fucking hurt.   She also said, "My mom loved to tell the world how I pooped when I had Jade and how gross it was.  I wanted someone more supportive."   I told her, "I want to come out and see you.   I want to make it up to you.  Amy, I thought of you CONSTANTLY for almost thirty years.  I thought you were going to marry some conservative Christian and forgot about me."  She said, "Not a day has gone by where I have not thought of you."  We both were crying.

"Hey, Johnny.  I think we need to see each other, to talk about this," she said.
"Let me see what I can do.  I need to talk to you.   I want to talk to you.   I want to make this up to you and Jade."
"You didn't have to."

So, on Saturday, I was flying in to town.  I had to give Amy specific directions because of my fame.  I was going to stay at her house, see her grandma who was in a nursing home, have lunch with Amy, and then meet Jade in person.  Jade said it was still touch and go with her Grandma so she was going to her house with the vultures to get her last things.   I hate Rob'family.   Amy and I were going to see her Grandma in the home, the California chaperone.   California.  I think Blanche was jealous Norma as  of Normawas very, very pretty and very classy.   Blanche was just a lady who rented rooms.  I think Blanche has since died, because i pass her house and the geraniums were gone.   Blanche reminded me of a man.

Amy and I had a lot to cover.
