Louisville was wonderful and now we were staying in Owensboro with a childhood friend of Johnny's that he kept in contact with over the years.   I tried to be present, but my mind was on Jade who was crushed at what just transpired.   I was not in favor of her relationship, as I found Sadie to be bossy, rude, entitled and just not nice to my daughter, but I knew what she was going through.   Johnny was great though.   "Don't worry about it, Love," he said over and over and over.

"You okay, Love?"  He asked.
"You know, just worried about my girl.   She's hurting."
"I know.  You're a good mother."
"Thank you."   He kissed me on the cheek.

We went to a small neighborhood.   It was a small house on a quiet street.   There was something I liked about Owensboro.   Johnny said, "I could move back here in a heartbeat."
"It's pretty here,". I said.  He looked at me and kissed me.
"I think small towns are where it's at for us."
"I love my home."
"You know, you could sell it to Jade."
"I could.   That whole house though?"
"She will find someone."
"I just don't want her to go through life like me, feeling unloved."
"Well you don't have to feel that way anymore, Amy.   I love you."
"I love you, too Johnny."

Most of the afternoon was spent seeing his old friends and relatives, then we we went to dinner on the river.   It was cool and breezy but nice. It was nice for him to have a day off and have time to talk to me.   I always enjoyed our conversation. He was so, so sweet.   ALL of his friends talked about what a shy, petite, beautiful boy he was.   He hung out with the kids no one did and that spoke to my heart.   He really was an earth angel and I was so in love with him.   I was so glad to have him back in my life.

"I had a great time today,". I told him.
"Same."
"I got to see what you were really like and you were one adorable, shy kid."
"I bet if we were young and I never pursued anything, I would have fallen for you."
"That would have been nice."

    He kissed me.

After dinner we went back to the house and the tiny guest room with a twin bed.   Johnny's pants were very tight and I could see all of it.   I took off my top and bra and walked over and kissed him.  "You little minx," he said.   I unbuttoned his shirt.   I ran my hand across his collarbone and I smiled.   I then took off the shirt and the necklaces one by one.   He played with the waistband of my jeans and then unzipped them.   He took them off as well as my panties and there I was, naked.  "I have thought about this all day," he said kissing me.  He laid  me down on the very lumpy twin bed, which reminded me of California.   "This reminds me when we were young," I said.  He smiled and said, "How about you squirt like you did that night.   That was hot."  He looked at me with those deep brown eyes.   "You are so, so beautiful.   You're my treasure."  I look away.  "Why do you do that?" He put my face next to his.   "I don't feel beautiful,"%I said quietly.   He said, "You are with me.   You are beautiful and I love you so, so much."  I begin to cry.   "Stop it.  Never, ever forget it!!!"

He went back to kissing me and went lower and lower until I begged him to go where I wanted all day.  He finally did.   He kissed my clitoris, but then licked lower and lower and darted inside of me.  I couldn't stand that.  "Johnny!"  I moaned.  He then started rubbing his fingers across me and I couldn't hold on and ended up a sobbing mess.   Johnny got on top of me after I paid some attention to him and then he rolls over on me and we tried to make love on a twin bed. It was awkward.  There just wasn't room.   I did squirt during sex.   Exhausted, we landed in a heap on the bed and I got stuck with the wet spot, but that was okay, as Johnny was so, so good to me.

Before I go to sleep I called Jade.   She was drinking wine and reading my diaries.  She was so drunk.   "Mom you worked so hard and I had no clue.  I love you."   I told her, "I love you more, babydoll."   Johnny talked to her.   He said he talked to Lily Rose and maybe she just needed to come out and shop with her and enjoy some time with her.  SHe doesn't have a lot of friends, as her friends were Sadie's friends and none of them I really liked.  Maybe she and Lily could have a friendship.

"Poor Kid,: my heart goes out to her.
"I know," I say.

We fall asleep in each other's arms thinking about 1993 when we were separated.  I guess Johnny was really, really crushed,   I reassure him, "Now we're together and life is good.  I love  you."  "I love you, but after the tour and I am free, I am going to take Jade out for some lunch," he told me.

Jade was heavy on my heart.
