Amy: I Never Saw It Coming

In the bathroom I scrubbed everything. I didn't want to stink. I trimmed my pubes and threw them away. I cannot believe some women sent Johnny them. My makeup looked great. Johnny complimented me on it and he said, "the blonde wig would look perfect with the makeup." I put on my underwear I bought at the fuller figured lingerie shop.   I wanted to be beautiful for him.  I wasn't losing him this time.   I lost him for almost thirty years.   I walked out and  Johnny walked up to me, hugged me and told me how beautiful I looked.  Jade hugged me and I whispered, "Thank you.   I can never repay you for this."  She tells me, "You deserve this." 

We left.   We ate in a private room.  

"This is nice,". I said.
"It is.  I've missed you."
"Same."
"I can't wait to travel with you." 
"Same.  My clients are sad."
"Well, I get sad when you aren't around.   I can fix that."
"You can?"
"I will talk about that in a bit."  
"After Nashville you will go with me to Cincinnati, then to see friends and family in Kentucky and off to Chicago."
"Are you going to kidnap me?"
"Perhaps." He looked at me with those impish eyes.

Our meal came and we ate.  "This is really delicious.  My neighbors are always grilling steak.  I am half tempted to take them off the grill."   He laughed.  "I like my neighborhood.  I have good neighbors.   Hannah is staying at the house watching the doggies."  He smiled.   He isn't saying much.  I wondered if he was going to dump me?   He seemed agitated, disinterested.   I began to think this was going to be the end, I was going to go back to Indy and crying. 

"Johnny are you okay?"  I asked.
"Well, I think I have something to say."
"Oh?"
"I lost you thirty years ago, and even though I loved those women, I still thought of you." He begins to cry.
"I cried for weeks, even years.  I married an abuser.  He was so charming at first." I am bawling.
"I don't want to lose you again.   Ever."
"You won't due to technology and our daughter."
"Amy, I have something to say."
"Then say it.  I have been hurt so many times.  I get it."
"I don't think this will hurt you.   Amy, I want you to marry me!"
"Yes,". I said as tears streamed down my cheeks.  "I will marry you."
"I love you so much."
"I love you more."

He knelt down, out the ring on my finger and I wanted to scream.  He kissed me and I just looked at it crying.   He kissed me and said, "I will never lose you again."  He held me as tight as he could.   We paid for our dinner and we walked around downtown talking and crying.   He even said, "I want to make Hannah feel welcome as well.   When I came back, or we fly out, I want to take her to dinner."   He told me Lily Rose was all for this and Jack was Jack.   I told her, "Jade is so happy.   Even though Rob adopted her, he still made her feel like shit when he would say, 'You are pretty but not blood'.  He was and is good to her, but he can also be an asshole. One night she was so sick and he sat up with her, cleaned her up, and made sure I got my rest."   Johnny said, "She's a neat girl."  I still remember that night.  I guess she got out of bed, walked into the living room and started puking.   Rob took such good care of her.   I was always the breadwinner.  

Johnny and I walked back to the hotel, and in the elevator, he planted a kiss on me so hard I could barely breathe.   He then played with my necklace he got me. He pulled me so close I could not breathe. Then those strong fingers and hands roam up my legs. I moan. He grabbed my ass. He then ran a finger down my crack and went inside of me. I moan and shut my eyes. The elevator door opened and a couple looks at us. We walked to the room and I checked to see if Jade was asleep. Johnny said, "She is an adult, dammit." He then slammed into me and I almost went out of my skin. He comes and collapsed on me. "Johnny, that was the best I ever had," I told him kissing him. "I love you and look forward to being your wife."

I went to sleep, wondering if this were all a dream. However, I woke up with the huge ring on my finger and Johnny Depp asleep next to me. I smiled and cuddled up next to him. At Least this engagement wasn't in the middle of Sears."you deserve this," I heard Jade say.
