38. Mark V.S. Nichkhun

You went on your final date with Nichkhun before he have to leave for his world tour. The news are always buzzing about you and Nichkhun who has been dating for 7 months now. You used to be a trainee under JYP Entertainment, and got moved to another company. Now, not only have you have your first album sold, you are dating the perfect man. Nothing can go wrong.

"Oppa," you smiled at Nichkhun. "I have a present for you."

"Really?" he smiled back. "What is it?"

"It's a surprise. Close your eyes."

Nichkhun closed his eyes and you walked up to him and out on a necklace you bought for him. It was a simple necklace with a shark tooth on it. He opened his eyes and smiled at the present you got for him.

"Wau! It's so cool!" he cried.

You smiled at him. "My eomma actually bought it for you. She told me to give it to you."

"I love it."

"You better!"

He pulled you close and placed his forehead on yours. "You're amazing, you know that."

"Of course. You cannot find a better girl than me."

"That's true."

You and Nichkhun walked the city of Seoul together, holding hands and going into cute, little shops. Your date with Nichkhun was fun as the two of you laughed and talk endlessly. Once it was time to head back, Nichkhun dropped you off at your temporary home - GOT7's house.

"Hyung!" cried JB.

"Hey! How is everyone doing?"

"Good. Congrats on your world tour."

"Thank you. Take care of my ____ while I'm gone, okay."

"Of course."

"I can't believe you're leaving tomorrow," you said to Nichkhun.

"I'll try to rush back as soon as possible and I'll come straight to you," said Nichkhun.

"Promise?"

"Promise." You and Nichkhun pinkie swear. You gave him one last hug before he had to leave.

You were about to walk into the house, but then JB grabbed your arm. You turned around and look at JB's worried eyes.

"Mark returned from the States."

"What?" you said, not wanting to believe it.

You and Mark had a "thing" before Mark had to leave to take care of his sick mom. You had feelings for Nichkhun, but Mark was making you fall for him without knowing. Nichkhun then asked you out and Mark had to leave for the States, so it is still unsettle between the two of you.

"Will you be okay?" asked JB who knows everything that is going on.

You nodded. "I have to be okay. I'm with Nichkhun oppa now."

You and JB walked in together and the first person you see was Mark.

"____," he said, surprised to see you.

You gave him a half smile. "Hi Mark."

He walked up to you. "You have gotten more beautiful."

"Thank you. How is your mom doing?"

"She has gotten better. My brother and sister are taking care of her while my dad goes to work."

"Whenever you get the chance, tell her I said I hope she feels better."

"I will. She was asking for you a lot. She really likes you."

You just smiled.

"Let's go out and eat, should we?" asked JB.

"Let's go!" said Youngjae.

Everyone walked out one by one, leaving you and Mark alone for a few minutes.

"I heard you're dating Nichkhun hyung now," said Mark

"I am," I answered. "7 months."

"Right after I left. If I stayed, you and I would have ended up together, wouldn't we?"

"Your mom was sick."

"And I loved you."

"Mark-"

"I loved you, but I still left you."

"You're mom was sick," you said again.

"I loved you. I love you."

"No. You 'loved' me. You can't 'love' me. I'm dating Nichkhun oppa."

"If I stayed, you would have been dating me."

"We don't know that for sure."

"Yes we do. I loved you and you loved me. We were going to end up together. But I had to leave and Nichkhun hyung had an opening. He took the chance and now he's with the most amazing girl in the world."

"Don't stay stuff like that." You were about to walk out the door to meet the others. Stay alone with Mark any longer will get even more dangerous than it already is.

Mark grabbed your hand. "Why?" He turned you around and pulled you close to him. He looked intensely into your eyes. "Worry your feelings might waver?"

"My feelings can't waver," you said, trying to sound strong. "I am with Nichkhun oppa. My feelings shouldn't be wavering."

"But it is," he said, moving his face closer to mine.

"I love Mark." Shit! "I mean... I love Nichkhun!"

Mark let you go and laughed. You were now confused.

"What-?"

He smiled at you. "Let's go out and eat with the others." He grabbed your hand, getting ready to walk out with you, interlocking hands.

"What are you doing!?" You pulled away from his grip.q

"Now I know."

"Know what!?"

"You love me."

"I do not! I made a mistake!"

"Because you love me."

"Are you an idiot? I just said-"

"You love me."

"Mark!"

He placed both hands on either side of your cheeks and moved his face close to mine until we are meeting eye to eye and I could feel him breathing on me. "You love me."

You didn't answer.

"I love you too." He wrapped his arm around you and pulled you close for a warm hug. "I love you too," he said again.

You cherished his hug without saying a single word.
