68. First Valentine Together

You have been dating Mark for 6 months and can't wait to celebrate your first Valentine's Day together.

Mark came by the pick you up, saying he was going to surprised you with something.

You got excited and dressed up. You haven't discussed Valentine's Day with Mark, but you're hoping he would still do something and it looks like he is. You went down to your living room where Mark was waiting for you.

He smiled when he saw you. "Wow! You look great!"

"Thank you," you said as you spin around for him to see your outfit.

Mark walked over and grabbed your hand. "Let's go."

The two of you walked out and into Mark's car. Mark started driving to who knows where. One hand on the wheel and the other, interlocking with your hand.

You spent the whole day following Mark and do what you guys would do on a normal date. You were waiting to see if there was more, having faith he would do something special.

But the sun went down and he still haven't done anything. You thought to yourself, he doesn't have to do anything big because that would cause attention and your relationship is a secret. But couldn't he still do something special?

Our last stop was the company because Mark was called in for a concert.

"Noona!" smiled Yugyeom excitingly.

Mark walked out the room with Youngjae as you watched him leave, annoyed.

"What's wrong?" asked Jaebum.

"I think he forgot Valentine's Day."

"Really!?" asked Junior.

"Then what have you guys been doing all day?" asked BamBam.

"What we would normal do on a date," you answered.

"Mark is so clueless!" said Jackson.

"Whatever. I guess I should get used to it."

"No you don't! He has to treat you right!"

"It's just one day."

"____, you don't have to hide the fact that you're hurt," said Jaebum who always seem to know when something is wrong with you.

"He's Mark. Let's be honest. What are we expecting from him? We were there when his ex girlfriend broke up with him three years ago. She said she wanted to break up and all he said was 'okay'. During reality TV shows when he is to impress a girl and capture her heart or when he have to try to make his 'girl' not mad at him anymore, he doesn't know how and do flips instead."

"Are you having second thoughts about dating Mark hyung?" asked Yugyeom.

"Of course not."

Mark stepped into the room with a huge smile, unaware of the aura in the room while Youngjae noticed and looked confused.

"Ready for the concert?" asked Mark. One by one, the guys walked out the door, passing Mark along the way.

"You're an idiot," said Junior.

"Unbelieveable," said Jaebum.

"You have to try!" said Jackson.

"Hyung, c'mon!" said BamBam. "You need to be aware of things around you."

"Hyung," said Yugyeom. "I'm saying this in a nice way possible. Please stop being clueless."

Youngjae followed them from behind. Mark looked at you confused by what was going on and what they were talking about.

"What's wrong with them?" he asked you.

"I'm going home," you said as you started to walk out the room.

Mark grabbed your wrist. "Wait! You're going home? But what about the concert?"

"I'm tired."

"Please come! I need you there!"

"You can perform without me. You've done it before."

"I can't! This time I can't. I need you with me."

"Fine," you said, not wanting to continue the convention.

You guys arrived at the concert. For some reason, instead of letting in backstage, Mark asked for you to stand in with the crowd, front row. And you did.

The concert began and hundreds of girls around you screamed and chanted GOT7's name.

Your favorite new song started playing and GOT7 started singing and rapping. It was one of their new song, Confession. You watched as the guys dance and sing to the song along with rap. When it was Mark's turn, he stepped out from his position and came down, causing girls to scream. As he rapped, he looked into your eyes and grabbed your hand. He pulled you up on stage with him. At the end of his rap, instead of saying "shall we?", be said, "My girlfriend!" through the mic.

After that the chorus came on and GOT7 went crazy on stage, celebrating Mark's confession to the world that I am his girlfriend.

No one expected this. At the end of the song, still holding your hand, Mark looked into your eyes with the mic still in his other hand as he talk through it.

"____," said Mark. "I know I should have talked with you about this, but I wanted to let the world know that you're mine. You're such an amazing woman and the world needs to know there is someone out there like you that still exist. And I'm the lucky one to have you by my side. I know I'm not always the most romantic guy or have trouble showing my feelings, but I still want to be the one who makes you happy. Hiding you makes me feel like I'm hiding a part of myself."

You wrapped your arms around the back of Mark's neck and pulled him close. "I love you Mark. Thank you."

You and Mark kissed as the rest of the world disappeared around you two. You guys didn't hear the cheer from the crowd or the screaming of GOT7's excitement.
